It was brought to my attention that Rachel Carson (who sadly died in 1964 just when she was needed the most) is pretty much forgotten these days.
I think that’s a profound pity, if she had been better remembered and her fact based warning better heeded, our life styles would be a bit more modest but our biosphere would be one hell of a lot healthier and the future for our children much much much brighter than the current degenerating nightmare we’ve collectively condemned them to.
