The virus isn’t really deadly for us younger people but it can be for the old and sick; and since modern American has plenty of old people - especially in politics, they force gerontocracy on the rest of us.

Preachers like the one in the OP of this thread, is using crisis to support his dogma and boost his following. This has been a typical tactic for, probably, most of the history of our civilization.

Is god calling people back to himself? If he has, he’s “called” about 100,000 of them. My prophesy is that he will “call” thousands more by the end of the summer.

As Dr Bartlett observed; “It’s the greatest dilemma mankind will ever face. At some point population growth will Stop.” And we can choose to stop growing or Nature will take care of the problem. And that usually is not very pretty.
Exponential growth in a limited environment is self-regulating . At some point growth will stop. It’s a mathematical truth.
