New EPA Chief Scott Pruitt

I can’t think of a better pick to head up the EPA.
Scott Pruitt is a man who has actually sued the EPA as AG of Oklahoma.
If there was ever an administration that was saturated with anti-American, left wing plants it would be the EPA.
It’s up to Pruitt to get in there and weed out these anti-American shills who seek to strangle the potential of the USA.
He’s got his work cut out for him.
We’ll never go back to that stranglehold position of knee-capping the United State’s industrial potential and capitalist drive.
Foreign interests have had too much input into how we have run our affairs while they go full steam ahead with polluting and expanding at all costs.
President Trump has come along just in the nick of time.

This is snark, right?

Just in the nick of time to ruin the United States' industrial potential and capitalist drive. Just watch him do it.
This is snark, right?
No it's not. It's reality. We won't be going back to: "The US is to blame for the world's problems." baloney. Or quoting figures about how much the US contributes to carbon emissions etc... It's very clear that only the market will control that. What demand there is for clean energy and clean manufacturing etc..will determine how much and how fast it's implemented. Regulations are mostly nothing more than a fake political football that's used internationally for leverage of control of markets and banks.

Come on Darron, it’s almost snark expecting V. to rationally discuss anything.
Drive by’s is about all we can expect from him.
Heck he won’t even offer us a baseline about what this ‘make amerika great again’ is - such as defining how much for our government they want to vandalize.
Or how do they intend to fix anything using the same players that have been tossing fuel on our problems and making them worse (that would oligarchs and the war machine)

This is snark, right?
No it's not. It's reality. We won't be going back to: "The US is to blame for the world's problems." baloney. How can you even talk about "reality" with a guy like Bannon in the inner circle of a narcissistic president who thinks Truth=what comes out of his mouth and Fake=anything he doesn't like Yes sir, Trump is going to make Amerika great again, just like Bush and Cheney. Keep on drinking that KoolAid and for god sake don't look out into the real world.

You’re right, CC. By the way, Vyazma, the EPA is an agency, not an administration.

You're right, CC. By the way, Vyazma, the EPA is an agency, not an administration.
That's right it is. Keep an eye on it. Lotta good changes coming. Time to get priorities straight. CC I can tell by the number of links you leave that you're still spending most of your waking hours behind a computer. Healthy bro...healthy.

Ask Darron where I spend my time. :coolsmirk: And you'll have to forgive me, wish I could turn it off too, but I'm a part of this human pageant unfolding around me, excuse me for taking life personally.
Regulations are mostly nothing more than a fake political football that's used internationally for leverage of control of markets and banks.
Absolute nonsense. Regulations have cleaned our air and water. Ask anyone who lived in New York City or Los Angeles before mission controls on cars. Libertarians will never admit the free market doesn't work because it is a religion to you.

Don't I wish. What I couldn't accomplish with days worth of focus, rather than bits and pieces of free time snatched from a crowded life. But, yeah, you could say I'm passionate about trying to write something meaningful about my perception of the world. If you got issues with that, that's your problem, not mine. I also like engaging folks like you for the learning opportunities. For instance, during Maddy's walk after reading your comment spent a bunch of time thinking about your need to imagine me as some worthless degenerate, It's so typical. I run into it all the time, since I actively confront folks who spew deliberate deception regarding climate science. Had a bunch I would have liked writing, since some of my pondering crystalized on something I been trying to get at. But alas, real life pulls me away, yet again. [/I] In fact, thought I'd send you a couple post cards. :cheese:
Wish'n you were here. ;-P
But, I'll be back. The good lord will'n ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
the EPA ... That's right it is. Keep an eye on it.
I've asked you to list some of these great things Trump is going to strive to accomplish. So far don't think you've responded once. If I'm wrong a link would be appreciated. So back to the EPA - what would be good changes? Can you explain why you think those would be good changes?

Regulations are mostly nothing more than a fake political football that's used internationally for leverage of control of markets and banks.
Absolute nonsense. Regulations have cleaned our air and water. Ask anyone who lived in New York City or Los Angeles before mission controls on cars. Libertarians will never admit the free market doesn't work because it is a religion to you. I wasn't clear enough. Yes obviously regulations are in effect and are working as intended. As well they should. Restrictions on SO2 from coal power, dumping wastes into water etc etc... Donald Trump has said numerous times he's for regulation that keep us and the environment safe. He just said it again at his CPAC speech. We're talking about burdensome, bureaucratic redtape. Regulations run wild. Regulations, proposed or otherwise, contrived from some international treaty based on giving emergent economies a leg-up while more advanced nations foot the bill. Emergent economies with populations exceeding 1 billion people! India's comments before the Paris Climate talks come to mind.

Yeah that f'n EPA certainly is at the root of all those problems. Cripple 'em, make the world a better place. :blank: The level of home work you've done is impressive.
advanced nations foot the bill.
Oh yeah and there's that, those damned third world countries that just milk us western nations dry every chance they get. Time for a little reciprocity from them damitall ! V, don't suppose you've done much history have you? :smirk:
I wasn't clear enough. Yes obviously regulations are in effect and are working as intended. As well they should. Restrictions on SO2 from coal power, dumping wastes into water etc etc...
You were perfectly clear, now you're moving the goalposts. Go back and read you opening post. Not only is it incendiary it is devoid of facts. Now think about what is happening. Trump just appointed to head the EPA a man who built his career fighting the EPA on behalf of oil companies. Let that sink in.
Donald Trump has said numerous times he's for regulation that keep us and the environment safe. He just said it again at his CPAC speech.
Trump lies all the time. He also said he was going to rid the White House of Wall Street influences.
We're talking about burdensome, bureaucratic redtape. Regulations run wild. Regulations, proposed or otherwise, contrived from some international treaty based on giving emergent economies a leg-up while more advanced nations foot the bill.
Be specific. Which treaties and which regulations? You're just spitting invective without substance.
Emergent economies with populations exceeding 1 billion people!
OMG. We cannot let that happen. What will happen to our white privilege and American superiority?
India's comments before the Paris Climate talks come to mind.
What did they say and to what do you object? Dammit. Forum software rejected my post I'm adding this in hope it will go through this time. This is ridiculous. How much text do I have to add so I can fix one little typo?

okay, it’s not funny. But nice to know it’s not just me having those issues.

As for the rest of your post - very constructive thoughtful approach, hopefully V. will come up with an equally thoughtful response.

I’m happy to watch the policies unfold. That’s the system in action. That’s Democracy.
And frankly I can’t see any of these unfolding policies upsetting the majority of Americans.
In fact I think more and more will come into the fold as we progress. As long as things go good…
Unfortunately you guys are ashamed of being enfranchised in the USA.
(Remember Darron that you said you were moving to Denmark if Trump wins?
I see your still here… )
When you should be happy that we are going to start putting America and Americans first.
That’s the whole idea of a Nation State. Somewhere along the line you guys got caught up in some ideology that sacrifices
your own nation’s interests for the interests of other nations.
I don’t have to debate with you folks. The debate was before the elections.
Now the American people get to see the policies that we voted for get implemented.
How’s that for thoughtful?

(Remember Darron that you said you were moving to Denmark if Trump wins? I see your still here.... )
Ni, I did not say that. It was a flippant comment do another forum member's question about where he could possibly go if he left the U.s., which he stated quite clearly he does not want to do.

I think you need to go back and re-read my opening post. In it, I stated that Pruitt had sued the EPA. So I don't need to let that sink in. Plus based on your observations that makes my post not devoid of facts. Look at that. Logic.
