Julius Caesar said (supposedly) “I am Rome”. That was prior to him playing a critical role in the events that led to the demise of the Roman Republic and the rise of the Roman Empire.
Does Joe Biden really see himself as comparable to Julius Caesar? Maybe he is. It just could be that history will remember him as playing a critical role in the events that led to the demise of the Republic called the USA and the rise of the socialist Empire called the One World Government.

Yep, did not like that. I knew people like you would misinterpret it and take it out of context. What Biden was speaking to was that Trump kept bringing in Sanders and the Green New Deal and other programs and ideas that are not on the Democratic platform and are not supported in full by Biden. He tried to pin them on Biden. Biden was pushing back on that.
I understood what he meant and, frankly, so did the right-wing panic party which has since jumped on it. He didn’t say, “I am Julius Caesar”. Nor did he say, “I am a strawman comparable to Julius Caesar”. Frankly this is a very petty attack coming from the side with a president who thinks he’s the most EVERYTHING in history. He’s the most persecuted, gotten the most done, the best negotiator (never mind he can’t seem to close any deals), his healthcare plan for 4 years has been “something great” (a few words short of actual policy there), Covid is GOING TO go away, drug prices are GOING TO go down, the Republican healthcare plan is GOING TO be great, the economy is GOING TO come back and be better than ever… When defending his tax break for the rich and corporations the economy was GOING TO be at 4% growth to pay for it, which never actually came even close to happening. And he was GOING TO build a wall and Mexico was GOING TO pay for it. Trump is GOING TO leave office in January. And it doesn’t matter if I’m wrong because I’ll be right eventually.
I don’t think all Trump supporters are idiots, but man, do a lot of them seem to WANT me to think they are. NOBODY believes a word out of that man’s mouth. But a lot of people pretend they do. Tribal mentality doesn’t do your IQ any favors.

Biden came across just right and I liked that. For a moment, I saw an alternative to Trump. He may look a bit old but he came across as the guy in charge of the Democratic Party. Keep it up Joe, and keep America American.
Honestly, Biden would do well in the next debate to open with a single sentence, then keep his mouth shut the rest of the time and let Drumpf dig his own hole. And that sentence would be “Donny boy, it’s obvious you’re no where near as smart as Barrack Hussein Obama.”
It is obvious that Biden is appealing to the suburban moms with his law and order and God and country stance. Even if he is serious (he isn’t) about dumping the eco-freaks, the Bernie-communists and the Burn Loot Murder crowd the party as seen in the House won’t let him do it and he knows it. He lies just like Obama did. You can’t fool all the people all the time.
The real danger for his party members is that he will disappoint those suburban moms and blame his failure to have a moderate administration on Congress and then the moms will give the Presidency to a far right woman and give the House and Senate back to the Republicans. Actions, especially lies, have consequences.

I have always liked Biden's persona. Fooling people is what America is all about. He is convincing, just like the guy in the TV ads that zap you all day long at breakfast, lunch, and dinner time. The people don't have a choice. Joe is all they've got. It's either him or the demon everybody hates. And the science points to Joe.

Moms used to be the backbone of the country. They were the true heroes who tamed the west. These days moms are fat bitches out to wreck the country. Far-right women are not fat. They look right and they think right. The real danger to the Democratic Party is Joe. We are safe with Joe. If he makes it to the White House, he won't yield to either Nancy or the far-left crazies. He is an old white guy and he can't go feminist, inclusive, or proressive even if he tried. In Joe we trust.
