…You guessed it Donald J. Trump that consummate douchebag of douchebags.
This time for tweeting from a golf course about what a poor job the Mayor of San Juan Puerto Rico was doing and what an utterly fantastic job and good news story his hurricane relief was for all of Puerto Rico and Florida. They may have been hammered by some of the worst hurricanes ever recorded almost certainly as a result of human created climate change - which trump denies exists - but they get a golf trophy dedicated to them by the first US president to be placed in office with the solid backing of the Russian government.
The Mayor of San Juan is living on a cot in a coliseum with 600 other people and trump probably has someone to wipe his ass for him… shortly before his weekly golden shower. It cleanses the pours don’t cha know.
The general who was in charge of the New Orleans Katrina disaster relief has made it clear what a shitty job the trump administration has been doing not sending disaster relief vessels the US sends to other disasters and not enough troops and helicopters to aid the disaster victims on the island of Puerto Rico. To trump’s credit he did know it was surrounded by ocean water, what does it say that that is notable in a man supposedly leading the free world.

Retired Lt. Gen. Russel Honoré drew a stark distinction Saturday when asked about President Donald Trump's tweets accusing San Juan Mayor Carmen Yulín Cruz of "poor leadership" in her response to the humanitarian crisis in Puerto Rico following Hurricane Maria.
"The mayor's living on a cot, and I hope the President has a good day at golf," said Honoré, who led the military response in 2005 to Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans.
Honoré made his remarks during an interview on CNN Newsroom.
Trump tweeted after Cruz criticized the White House's response to Maria's disastrous impact on the US commonwealth. During an interview Friday on CNN, she cast the situation as "a story of devastation that continues to worsen."
Cruz also said she and her family are staying at the Coliseum in San Juan, along with more than 600 people. They're sleeping on cots and eating the same food as everyone else after their house flooded.
For trump a disaster is when the cocktail shrimps are more than a day old and the caviar comes from the second best river in Russia not the best.
So congratulations "Mr." trump for almost certainly getting a lock on the douchebag of the year award.
Oh, btw idiot, tweeting to the people of Puerto Rico what a poor job they're doing is about as moronic as you can get. 95% of people don't have power and only 11% have cell service.
Then there's the many thousands who don't have clean water, little food and little shelter.
Hate to break to you but none of what is going on in Puerto Rico is "good" news. That's like saying that a degree from Trump University puts someone in the Ivy League.
Steve’s take on what a douchebag trump is…
Who cares. The real question is, why don’t the Republicans say or do anything? Either they secretly agree with him or they think they can win elections without regard to what citizens think of them. And that means they’re counting on their illegal gerrymandering efforts, so-called voting rights efforts, and probably more we don’t even know about, to rig the election. It’s their standard MO…cry and complain about someone else doing the exact thing you yourself are doing, so as to give yourself cover.
I’m pretty sure that millions of Americans do care… and if it gets to the point where most people don’t care at all about the lives of other members of their society then it will fail catastrophically.
The message is the medium and the medium here is contempt for people’s lives. That is the message of trump and the US republican party towards almost all Americans. At some point that will sink in and if it doesn’t then there will be no America left, you can’t destroy a people and still have their society left standing, that is the fact that belies the insanity that is at the root of ideology that has consumed the right in America today.
Have massive hurricanes in the south, blame it on lesbians.
It’s that season again. An ominous swirl forms in the Atlantic, citizens batten down or evacuate, TV weather reporters put on rain slickers and, as predictably as National Weather Service bulletins, some End-Times pastors and other provocateurs on the right attribute the storm to a wrathful God’s vengeance on liberals.
The storm surge has already washed up Jim Bakker, whose televangelism never quite recovered from his sex scandal and prison sentence for fraud. After Hurricane Harvey, he declared that “this flood is from God," punishment for the former mayor of Houston attempting to subpoena ministers’ sermons.
Bakker said this while promoting his “Tasty Pantry," a bucket of dehydrated food to help survive the apocalypse, and while sharing his set with Pastor Rick Joyner, who agreed storms don’t “happen by accident."
Likewise, Pastor Kevin Swanson has said the path of Hurricane Irma would be altered by God if the Supreme Court quickly made abortion and gay marriage illegal, “before Irma does her damage," as Right Wing Watch noted.
Radio preacher Rick Wiles, likewise, said Houston is underwater because it “boasted of its LGBT devotion." And Ann Coulter — bless her — suggested it might have something to do with the city’s former mayor being a lesbian. “I don’t believe Hurricane Harvey is God’s punishment for Houston electing a lesbian mayor," she tweeted. “But that is more credible than ‘climate change.’ "

You missed my point. Until the Repubs are ashamed enough to get rid of him we're stuck with him. And I'm afraid they have alternate plans that don't involve fair elections. How else would you explain them turning a blind eye to someone who is ruining their brand so badly?

It's truly nuts, now he's playing games with the media about starting a war somewhere.

President Trump, surrounded by military leaders and their spouses at a White House dinner Thursday night, made some cryptic but seemingly ominous remarks suggesting some “storm" ahead.
“Maybe it’s the calm before the storm," Trump told a few reporters who were ushered into the room to photograph the assemblage. Trump grinned mischievously and waved his hand in a semicircle as the military leaders flanked him.
The comments could mean anything -- or nothing, given Trump's penchant for off-the-cuff comments and teases to the press. Rarely if ever do presidents joke about potential military action. And given tensions in so many global theaters -- for example, with North Korea over its nuclear ambitions, with Iran over its support for terrorist activities, and now the prospect of retaliation for the killing of three Green Berets this week in Niger -- Trump's comments immediately provoked serious questions.
“What’s the storm?" a reporter asked. “On Iran? On ISIS? On what?"
“We have the world’s great military people," Trump said, again offering what amounted to a tease. “Thank you all for coming."
“What storm, Mr. President?" another reporter shouted.
“You’ll find out," Trump shot back.
On Friday, Trump was asked again what he meant by the comment.
"Thank you," he said with a wink. "You'll find out."
