10-6-2024, teen boy, tells a teen girl: "Your body? It’s not your choice, it is my choice.

That is the new world we have ushered in. No more equality among equals, from now on it’ll be the superior, doing what superior s.o.b.s have always done. And society will get nothing out of it but more strife, rage and destruction.

Where do we go from here?

When half the country feels at war with the other half, and the other half hasn’t a freak’n clue what is happening?

While no one is really paying attention to the bad (destructive) environmental changes we are driving?

How do we go from here?

Democratic liberals are unwilling to recognize they are unable to craft policies that appeal to the working class is because of their submissive relations with Wall St. and the war complex. Relations they have been subjected to believe are natural and necessary for American success. A success that includes world dominance, which Democratic liberals act upon rather than the inequality which costs them elections.

That’s a diversion, this election wasn’t about defense spendings, it was about experts with bottomless pockets and MAGA megaphones, manipulating perceptions, contriving anger and revenge lust based on lies and fraudulent story lines.

It was about manufactured disinformation and an absolute disregard for honesty towards facts.

It was about the American politicians ignoring our real problems, in order to feed a maniacs lust for sucking all the oxygen out of the room, and a world full of petty sycophants ready to do whatever it takes, with even more American’s who just couldn’t be bothered with the politics.

People who have no clue what they just allowed to go down.
The billionaires have been playing us like a fiddle with Murdock as the conductor, Koch as head cheerleaders with a host of others falling in line, year by year.

This election was about rejecting living in a pluralistic society, under the rule of law, with a sense of security, decency, honor, respect, rational decision making based on honest facts, constructively argued. But, before too long we shall all learn to rue this election.

Oh, and to correct some willful ignorance, both parties love that Military Industrial Complex money. As do all the the billionaires, and most of their workers, it’s why none of us is innocent, but no one wants to talk about it.

Not even you, frank, I don’t think you have any more in ya, than cheap soundbites.

Folks around here of that certain age will be able to relate to this.
It’s worth a few snickers, and flashbacks to better days when most of us Americans still had a sense of humor.

This election will go down in history. It shows a sea change in public opinion about the norms we’ve taken for granted. Democrats are in very bad shape. They haven’t messed up this badly in a long time – or maybe ever. If they want to survive, they will have to remake the party.

I suspect Trump will be similar to how he was in his first term, i.e. easily distracted, clumsy and changeable.

One thing that’s different is Vance doesn’t seem to be as much of a doormat as Pence was, so he might have more influence on Trump. Not to mention he is also a lot younger. I don’t know what Vance really believes in; he seems like a type A personality who does what he needs to in order to get ahead. Beyond that, I don’t really know what to expect from him.

Blue MAGA paves the way for Red MAGA, with muted cosmetic whinging on the fringes, because both are ultimately on the same Fascist Imperialist team.

The defense dept spending is passed every year with very little debate. It doesn’t make the regular news because it’s not different, it’s not new. That is both parties, taking your money and killing people for profit. If the defense budget drops by 1% next year, I will eat my hat.

Pretty sure your hat is safe. The leader of the Senate Armed Services Committee will want defense spending to rise to 5% of GDP.
