Choose something that didn’t exist twenty years ago, but is common today. Think back to see if you could have predicted them.
Now, in all those areas, what do you predict will be things or situations that will exist twenty years from now but which don’t exist today?

Now, in all those areas, what do you predict will be things or situations that will exist twenty years from now but which don't exist today? Occam
Nearly everything will be lighter, smaller and more powerful, except television screens, which will be bigger. Cars will be electric. People will be less religious and there will be more atheists. People will be able to marry the partner of their choice and everyone will wonder what all the carrying on was about. Marijuana will be legal in most states. On the down side, there will be another hundred conspiracy theories being cooked up and people will still be arguing about free will.

In the next twenty years?
On the positive side:
War in Afghanistan will end
AIDS will likely be cured
Advances in artificial organs, extreme surgery
Another political party starts to become dominant in USA
Less vehicles on the road in USA
Locally produced foods become more common
Higher education will begin to loose appeal among middle class
Suburbanisation decreases
Lifelike sex robots
Traditional sex roles make a comeback
On the negative side:
Obesity and it’s related disorders will become a huge public health issue
USA will be in another mid-east conflict
Ghettoisation will become more widespread
Increase in racial strife
Increase in organised crime
Fossil fuels still big problem
Wealth gaps increase
Anti-intellectualism more rampant
