Why Are Christians Persecuted And Killed And Its Not Being Shown On The News??

All around the world we see Christians being persecuted and even killed in huge numbers just because of their faith in places like the middle east, Pakistan, inda and Africa to name a few places and its never shown on the news but yet when other religious groups like muslims for instants are persecuted and killed its all over the news. Why?

Simple answer is that the media are biased against religion and especially against Christianity. The major news media are controlled by liberals in the USA and the UK, and by the Chinese communist party. Christianity is the dominant religion in the USA and the UK and is seen by liberals as the biggest threat to liberal ideology and socialism. China sees any religion as a threat to the fundamentals of communism. The liberals are right of course; any belief system that espouses personal authority and responsibility and an individual work ethic is contrary to the ideology of communism and its little brother socialism.

The stated goal of Islam is world domination in all areas of life and not just religion but also government, law and economics. Thus Islam is the enemy of all other religions and all other forms of government. It appears that the liberals have taken the stance of “the enemy of my enemy is my friend”. That idea is absurd of course, especially so in reference to Islam. The other religions of the world will allow the liberals to do their thing without significant restrictions but we have seen that Islam will execute those who do not submit to the rules of Islam. The liberals just don’t get who their real enemies really are.

As my wise old grandmother used to say, there are some things you just can’t fix. Really stupid ideas such as there really is a free lunch and like big government can solve all our personal problems for us are two of those things.

This is the most wrong thread on this forum. Staring with an inaccurate account of the news.

Where is that goal stated.

Can it be any worse that trump’s belligerent totalitarian attack on American institutions and all his perceived and fabricated enemies?

Christian persecution ‘at near genocide levels’
3 May 2019, BBC

No cover up their -

But of course, some have cause to hyper inflate it while turning a blind eye to Christian persecution of others -

It always sucks when it’s you being persecuted and of course human nature is to only think about incidents of persecution against one’s group while ignoring all they dish out. What about the Christian persecution of woman? Why not worry about that.

Why not complain about the the homophobia evangelicals love adding fuel and oxygen to?

What about the absolutism of asserting that your god is the only way to God?

OPEN DOORS my butt

“Christians remain one of the most persecuted religious groups in the world. While persecution of Christians takes many forms, it is defined as any hostirelity experienced as a result of identification with Christ. Christians throughout the world continue to risk imprisonment, loss of home and assets, torture, rape, and even death as a result of their faith,” Open Doors said in a release accompanying the report.

Orchestrated propaganda is more like it.

Not that Christians aren’t being persecuted, but so is every other poor person around the world regardless of religious affiliation - think of all the innocent victims that Cheney/Bush/War Profiteers created in their oh so profitable “war on terror” which did ten times more to created terrorists than it ever did to quell any problems - but than when war profits are your goal one - ugly things happen regardless of the particular phony “faith” you use as your bludgeon.

and satan controls them all coz he controls the world, 1 john 5:19 it was a rhetorical question!!

What about atheists being persecuted and killed in many places in the world? I haven’t seen that on the news lately. Why?

Because there isn't much concern over foreign Christian persecution in this secular, multicultural society. At best it is just seen as part of the usual craziness in the developing world. Funnily enough, muslim persecution is extremely rare outside of the muslim world, but the media feels it has a responsibility to cover that nonsense differently because muslims are "outsiders".

Seems I have heard a Televangelist or 2, getting his listeners riled up about bad things happening to Christians in foreign places.

As a humanist, I sure don’t want Christians, or Atheists, or Muslims, etc. persecuted in ANY way for their religious beliefs or non-belief in religions.

I still suspect that Atheists get the short end of the stick, as far as anyone in the rest of the world giving a flip about their persecution and murder.
