Tracking "the most ominous president ever" ~ as the horrors unfold

Trump is so far ahead of where you are at that you can’t even see him. And he hasn’t even been in office for a week yet.
This is what Trump has done so far, posted on FaceBook by one of my friends. Click the link to see his post. Lets recap the GOP's first few days in power] We see what he is doing and we don't like it.

But wait, there’s more!
Trump-approved ‘voter fraud’ consipracy theorist goes down on flames during trainwreck CNN interview]

Cuomo again pressed Phillips for how he could claim to know for certain that Clinton received millions of illegal votes without currently having the proper evidence to back up such a conclusion. “You can reach a conclusion, and then still verify it," Phillips responded.
Motivated reasoning, anyone?

Speaking of the environment
Trump’s EPA is going to be a disaster for science and the environment ]

The Trump administration plans on cutting hundreds of millions of dollars from the EPA’s budget. It plans to stop enforcing Clean Air Act greenhouse gas regulations for new and existing coal and natural gas power plants, fuel economy standards, sections of the Clean Water Act, and plans to clean the Chesapeake Bay. It will also cease to fund scientific research and challenge federal and state permit decisions.
Trump also wants to cut spending for the IPCC, and organization Mike Yohe has repeatedly said he supports. Here is an article showing what Trump wants to cut and how much those programs cost American taxpayers. President Trump Wants to Kill These 17 Federal Agencies and Programs. Here's What They Actually Cost (and Do)]
To put this in context: The total cost, per American, of the following 17 programs said to be on the chopping block is $22.36 per year-- of which more than a third comes from a single clean-energy program. By contrast, housing subsidies, like the mortgage interest deduction, which are disproportionately used by the wealthy, cost $296.29 per American.
Hey, he has to get the money for his wall somewhere.
So far not one issue that is important to the workingman. I guess these are humor postings to show how ineffective the Democrats and the Left are going to be this year. The only minds that are going to change are the ones who bought into this spin in the first place. Trump is so far ahead of where you are at that you can’t even see him. And he hasn’t even been in office for a week yet. I told you a year ago that repeating spin doesn’t help the country. Now that the election is over, real changes are going to take place. Forget about the political BS of the election, and concentrate on the country. The only ominous showing here is that of the Left.
What's it like in that alternate universe you live in? I really want to know. Trump does X,Y, and Z. Press reports on X,Y, and Z, and Trump followers proceed to mock press for only focusing on stupid things like X,Y, and Z while not paying attention to W which Trump hasn't done. Man that's a weird mindset.I do live in an alternate universe and it is great and I am happy. It is the one that uses common sense. The same one that most of the working people of America live in. You know a couple of years ago I started stating that we are being over regulated. No one on this site saw that as an issue. And what’s more, you still don’t. On issues that we think are important we are about as far apart as one can get. On issues that we agree upon, you have no logical fixes for the problems. All this negative talk can’t be good for your body and soul. What is the word you would call people who sit and wish someone would crash and burn? Or is it two words like “progressive liberal". I use to think of myself one, which was when it really meant something good.
I do live in an alternate universe and it is great and I am happy.
That's what believing in alternate facts does to you. You live in a delusional world and think you have things figured out. How about addressing the facts I brought up? How do you reconcile supporting the IPCC and Donald Trump when Trump wants to end U.S. helping fund the IPCC? How do you reconcile the sparse attendance at Trump's inauguration with his press secretary's assertion that the audience was larger than Obama's 2009 ceremony?
So far not one issue that is important to the workingman.
Trump signed an executive order cancelling the Trans Pacific Partnership trade agreement. Farmers and ranchers across the country are realizing the they're going to lose tons of money on crops and cattle they planned to sell to overseas markets. That is important to them, so your statement is false. Not according to the population growth predictions.
I guess these are humor postings to show how ineffective the Democrats and the Left are going to be this year. The only minds that are going to change are the ones who bought into this spin in the first place.
Spin? You want spin? How about Kelly Anne Conway and her infamous "alternative facts"?
That's exactly what I been talking about. If it was not spin, why would you be talking about Anne Conway?
Trump is so far ahead of where you are at that you can’t even see him.
That is a ridiculously meaningless statement.
The sad part is, it is also true statement.
Forget about the political BS of the election, and concentrate on the country. The only ominous showing here is that of the Left.
Who was it that tweeted about restarting the nuclear arms race?
That is the spin I am talking about. You just said something that was untrue to boast your cause. Trump never said anything about restarting the nuclear arms race. What Trump said was “desire to expand American nuclear weapons capability". That could be one of several issues without increasing the number of nuclear weapons. For example the cruise missile program can greatly increase the weapons capabilities without adding any new weapons. The experts don't know what Trump meant. But you do. That is spin. My guess would be. In the last year there have been several reports out of how old and outdated our nuclear program is. Trump is looking for projects to get America back to work. He was most likely wanting to create jobs and not a nuclear arms race. When you look at how Trump manages, to think he would declare such an item is out of context.

You are hopeless. I’ve long suspected you are out of touch with reality, and you just proved it.

So far not one issue that is important to the workingman.
Hey this is an open thread, I am literally hoping folks might take my lead and share good articles would love to suggest the following format
Title author, date, publication link quote? etc?
a few comments perhaps
So if you have something you think I'm ignoring, help me out. After all we all only have so much bandwidth. You know damned well I will read anything serious you link to. So rather than whining, produce the beef. CC, I don’t think you need help finding more stories to post. You already have more than enough. It is more than just finding articles. It has more to do with understanding. You don’t need an article to tell you who to fall in love with do you? And the same thing is true with the working man voting for Trump. The working (or unemployed, laid off, downsized) men and woman didn’t read an article and say “Oh, my God. We are over regulated!" They have over the years read thousands of stories and have come to the conclusion that we are over regulated. The issue should be, why is it that only certain groups can see it as a problem? What are the common factors? I notice you never use Fox News in your posting. Bill O’Reilly has a show on Fox that claims no spin. And so far I have not heard any spin from O’Reilly.

Very understandable. New leadership needs to put its people in place. Maybe if the Democrats would stop holding up the new administration Trump would not have to do this. I know this will be hard for you to understand, but please try. Obama has risen the national debt by 116%. That is money we don’t have. There are going to be a lot of programs axed because of our high national debt. You can thank Obama for that. But you won’t. You will blame the guy that is trying to save the nation.

At the risk of getting banned: Are you stupid? Did you bother reading any of the articles I linked? The programs Trump wants to cut would not amount to more than a rounding error in the national budget, yet you keep on blathering about nonsense. Trump isn't trying to save the nation. If he were he wouldn't be tweeting about encouraging other nations to build nuclear weapons, building an idiotic wall on the Mexican border, publishing criminal acts of foreign nationals, implementing a Muslim database, global warming being a Chinese conspiracy, Saturday Night Live being mean to him... I could go on, but you are so stuck in your fantasy universe you'll never acknowledge reality. People like you help me understand how Germany turned to the Nazis in the 1930s.

I could go on, but you are so stuck in your fantasy universe you'll never acknowledge reality. People like you help me understand how Germany turned to the Nazis in the 1930s. I did read the article. I found it to illogical to comment on. Nothing more than spin. It took the population of the United States. Then divided the cost of the program by the population. To come up with a small cost per person. The problem with that is, it does not work that way in the real world. The U.S. has the lowest percentage of Americans working today of any year since 1977. Most people are aware of this fact. Then you have to add the percentage of working Americans who are in the poverty level. And that takes in 6.3% of the population. Or do you want to add more taxes to the people living in poverty? This would mean the numbers you quoted would have to increase by 300% to be reality. And that tax would be on mostly on the working middle class. Only an idiotic would purposes such an idea after an election that was a total upset by the working middle class who believe they are already being unfairly over taxed. Then some people are so foolish that they blame Trump. Trump did not cause the problems that we have today. It was people who exercised complete lack of thought or common sense and justified taxes and borrowing that are to blame for the programs having to be cut. People who think that a few million here or there is nothing. Trump is just the messenger that is telling you what needs to be done to make America great again. As far as Germany and the Nazis. The Nazis were the Socialist. They held socialist ideas, just like you and what you purposed. The socialist’s ideas caused Germany’s working man’s lifetime retirement savings to be worth the price of a cup of coffee. Run a way debt will cause hyperinflation.
Only an idiotic would purposes such an idea...
You answered my question.

Trump’s executive order banning Muslim refugees from certain nations blatantly violates the First Amendment. Even though this is blindingly obvious I expect Trump supporters will dance around this issue and try to explain it away, then accuse us of spinning his action.

Seems Trump targeted Muslim countries where he has no business interests. Can you say “Conflict of interest”?
How Does Trump’s Immigration Freeze Square With His Business Interests?]

The executive action, "Protecting The Nation From Foreign Terrorist Entry Into The United States," targets seven nations: Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen. Trump has no business interests in those countries. One other thing they have in common, as NPR's Greg Myre writes: "No Muslim extremist from any of these places has carried out a fatal attack in the U.S. in more than two decades." The 19 terrorists in the Sept. 11 attacks were from Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Lebanon and the United Arab Emirates, Myre points out. They are among the Muslim-majority countries not affected by Trump's immigration freeze, but where Trump does business.
If Trump was really concerned with security, instead of grandstanding for his supporters, he would do something about potential terrorists from countries where the terrorists originate. This is going to be a very long thread.

There have been infinitely more mass muders by non-Muslims, most of them Christian. Maybe he should bar Christians from entering the country. http://www.motherjones.com/politics/2012/12/mass-shootings-mother-jones-full-data Agent Orange (a perfect name suggested by a friend) is ensuring additional terrorism against Americans.

Is this immature name calling just for presidents? Or should we bestow everyone posting on CFI fabricated names. It would be nice to see some quality of decency and truthfulness by the posters. Correct title would be “Mr. President" or the Honorable Donald Trump. Only you can decide what level of decency is appropriate for your level of education.

Might think about spreading out your anger before you have a heart attack. President Obama passed the personality test, but failed where it really counted. We are heading into an age where a there is a lot of repair and fixing needing to be done to just about every system in our county. If it can be fixed, then in eight years we could be back on track for programs like Climate Change. Trump did not create the mess, you did. It would help if you would take responsibility for your actions and stop feeding the nation’s problems. Trump is not Jesus, so you might think about overlooking a few human faults and help the man get the job done.

They are immune to reason.
