The other day the CBS news had a brief interview with three Trump supporters, all women (two of them black), saying that their support for him hadn’t wavered at all since the Charlottesville incident. One of them said that they didn’t vote for him because he was nice or popular, but because he could get things done. Another actually tried to blame the current racist climate on Mr. Obama!!! She said something about his “politics of personality” as if it was a bad thing. The third said that she didn’t let anyone tell her what to think (as if it was the news media who was behind the whole thing, making Trump look bad). How can it been seen in other light, Barak Obama wasn't a radical departure from how America has been governed for a long time. The only difference was he wasn't white. When David Duke applauds something you do in regards to race relations then there is a very good chance you are a racist. I agree with your solution, just not the methods. Yes, Jimmy Carter sums it up very well, but Bill Maher, Sam Harris, and many others said this before and directly after the election. It is crucial to know the cause, I agree. We must analyze and extrapolate all the data we can from that and move on. Let them work to impeach him on the judicial side; on our side the role of citizen we have to work to get democrats into the senate or it will never happen. All they have found so far, you must come to the same conclusion. He is sitting president, guilty of treason and obstruction of justice, blatantly and empirically. Republicans are not going to give up a loss. We must be practical and meticulous in our next steps forward, because time is running out.
