Here’s a fun little Thanksgiving Day sharing, a taste of Deep Time
The history of our world in 18 minutes | David Christian https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yqc9zX04DXs David Christian narrates a complete history of the universe, from the Big Bang to the Internet, in a riveting 18 minutes. This is "Big History": an enlightening, wide-angle look at complexity, life and humanity, set against our slim share of the cosmic timeline.Fun trivia, it took 380,000 years for first Hydrogen and Helium nuclei to capture electrons and form stable atoms; it took another ~199,620,00 years for first star light and creation of more complex atoms. After viewing the video I looked up David Christian and the "Big History" project he's developed, pretty fascinating stuff. Mainly for educators and students, but they do have a section for the public.
