Though a thought came to me recently and it seemed so obvious I was shocked I missed it. I think it might be because I’m on the spectrum and because since there is no objective meaning, to me that means it’s just wrong to say anything matters because it doesn’t in an objective sense.
Like…I think this comes down to black and white thinking with me, and I didn’t realize it until recently. I thought it over and it would explain a lot of how stuff gets stuck with me. Nuance is something people tell me about but I don’t really understand it half the time. I say it because it’s the correct answer to say but application and understanding of it sorta elude me.

Empaths also respond negatively to observation of negative behaviors. That is the other dark side of empathy. Shared hate is as common as shared love.

Some people are emotional vampires who feed on empaths.
