@anton I have ad blocker, so I never saw the memes on FB. Although I’ve read others have. The thing is, I think Russia did more than just memes.
It,s important to make the distinction between Russia and it’s present dictator Vladimir Putin. They are not the same. Those who criticize Donald Trumps’ unsavory, criminal ties to Putin and the Russian mob are not anti-Russian. There is a strong plurality of citizens in that country who earnestly want a more democratic government but as long as Vladimir Putin is in charge they know this aspiration entails serious risk. Putin has personally ordered at least 40 killings and most informed observers suggest it’s closer to 200 but he knows (very much like our own “president”) that if he leaves office he stands a good chance of going to prison. Ordinary Russians didn’t hack and subvert our election in 2016. It was a specialized team directed and supervised by Vladimir Putin. The reason why Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin get along so well with each other is because they are both antithetically opposed to democracy. How else can you explain Trumps’ eagerness to undermine Americans’ faith in our elections? Putin, a thug, and a murderer owns Donald Trump. Who do you think Trump owes 400 million dollars to? No American bank is holding such an enormous debt obligation.
It’s shamefully ironic that better relations with the Russian people are now being held hostage by Putin and Trump, two self-dealing criminals. When the current dictator of Russia is driven from office and the current pretender in the White House is voted out a time will come when the Russian and American people will be allies as they rightfully should be.
Mriana, i have no idea what you mean by russia doing more but what you doing is helping the right in deflecting criticism of the failings of america from its own making to outside actors.

It,s important to make the distinction between Russia and it’s present dictator Vladimir Putin.
The first of many fallacies . Where did you get the Dictator line from?
Those who criticize Donald Trumps’ unsavory, criminal ties to Putin and the Russian mob are not anti-Russian.
Seems like those pushing this line are pushing for a more aggressive foreign policy against Russia that is in keeping with the cold war narrative. These people are very comfortable with a war between the two.
There is a strong plurality of citizens in that country who earnestly want a more democratic government but as long as Vladimir Putin is in charge they know this aspiration entails serious risk.
Your opinion? He has a 60% approval rating. Should it go back to the Yeltsin days?
Putin has personally ordered at least 40 killings and most informed observers suggest it’s closer to 200 but he knows (very much like our own “president”)
Another opinion? Fact free?
Ordinary Russians didn’t hack and subvert our election in 2016. It was a specialized team directed and supervised by Vladimir Putin.
You personally know this?
The reason why Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin get along so well with each other is because they are both antithetically opposed to democracy.
And the Corporate Democrats are pro democracy?
Putin, a thug, and a murderer owns Donald Trump.
I don’t see Putin invading other countries or funding mercenaries for coup d’état or breaking international treaties or apply economic terrorism with illegal sanctions
Who do you think Trump owes 400 million dollars to? No American bank is holding such an enormous debt obligation.
Not according to tax records. The 400 million owed to non Russian entities.
It’s shamefully ironic that better relations with the Russian people are now being held hostage by Putin and Trump, two self-dealing criminals.
Better reactions with the threat of war? That makes sense not.
When the current dictator of Russia is driven from office and the current pretender in the White House is voted out a time will come when the Russian and American people will be allies as they rightfully should be.
Allies in what sense? America has her interests, Russia has hers and China has hers as well. Conflict arises when these interests clash as they will inevitable will in a capitalist economies
Mriana, i have no idea what you mean by russia doing more but what you doing is helping the right in deflecting criticism of the failings of america from its own making to outside actors.
No I’m not, because Russia helped the Right steal the election. That’s not helping them in anything. The dotard is in bed with Putin. Telling the truth isn’t helping the Reich with anything because they always lie.
Mriana - hitchens razor; assertions made without evidence can be dismissed without evidence
@anton there is evidence and it’s even been on the news. What world have you been living in?
Mriana that would be useful to see rather than speculation.
@anton Anything I post you won’t believe, but as I said it’s been in the news concerning 2016 and now with the dotard being Putin’s lap dog, yet you seem to live in another world. So, despite the fact you won’t read any of it or even believe any the links with millions more from even more sources…
https://swalwell.house.gov/issues/russia-2016-us-election-interference
Mriana the problem with your links is they again are just claims without evidence. They dont explain how they arrived that conclusion, dont provide examples and dont explain how they have verified Russia is the root cause in why people voted for trump
@anton I told you, despite being on many news sources you refuse to believe it, calling it claims without evidence. The evidence is there, but you refuse to face reality, because you are a dumpster (a dotard supporter), part of the cult 45, who is brainwashed into believing the dotard can do no wrong and Russia wasn’t involved in assisting the dotard in stealing 2016 election and they are involved now, even when it was stated as so during his impeachment. The evidence was even in the impeachment, but as a dumpster you are too deluded and brainwashed to believe anything other than the orange creature being all that, when he isn’t.
Mriana. I hate trump. But focusing on Russia as much as the Democrats do only fuels the right wing propaganda that movements such as BLM has been manufactured by outside forces and nothing to do with a foreseeable reaction to social tensions within Americas socio economic structure.
If you keep making the claim i am going to keep challenging you to provide me with the evidence. Can you give me at least one that show interference? This of course would show it changed the course of the elections
In response to Anton.
Your responses sound as if they come straight from the playbook of “Russian Disinformation Central” I have to wonder who you are. A simple question will clear this up. Do you or do you not believe that an organized, well-funded effort of wholesale disinformation was directed at the American people ordered by Vladimir Putin? Just answer yes or no.
Who are you Anton?
@michaelmckinney1951 I think @anton is a dotard supporter or, as you suggested, and it is possible, he’s a Russian infiltrator trying to spread misinformation on our board. He can keep challenging me and attempting to spread misinformation, but in the end I will vote for who I want and it’s not the dotard. I’d sooner puke than vote for that orange creature. The truth is, the dotard’s relationship and Russian meddling was confirmed during his impeachment and @anton can scream “not true” and “you’re helping the right”, which is not true, all he wants, but the fact is the dotard is in bed with Putin. That fact won’t change no matter how much he attempts to spread misinformation about the dotard stealing elections. He did it before and he’s attempting to steal the election again- both have been proven, whether he wishes to believe it or not and/or insist on spreading misinformation.
Sadly, spreading misinformation isn’t a cause for banning. It’s a cause to attempt to educate, but he refuses to face reality, so there is no giving him the facts and educating him. I give up on him, but I refuse to allow him to spread misinformation.
Changed my mind. The act of attempting to dispute truths is a tactic that the dotard, his cronies, Russian meddlers, and minions use to distract. Since this thread is about the debate, and not Russian meddling, I’m just going to ignore anyone who brings up anything about the dotard being Putin’s lap dog.
@michaelmckinney1951 - no as in not guilty.
Mriana, i dont respect people who throw away their critical thinking skills when they spew partisan politics
@anton That’s only your opinion. Look when it concerns politics, I don’t have to agree with you and you don’t have to agree with me. The thing is, Russia helped the dotard steal the election in 2016 and the dotard is trying again to steal the election, with or without Russia’s help. The U.S. citizens need to get out in mass and vote for Biden-Harris, if they do not want the fascist Communist dictator in office any longer. That’s the only way we will get the dic[tator] out of office. Then hopefully the dic[tator] goes to prison for the rest of his life for crimes against humanity, which he committed.
"if they do not want the fascist Communist dictator "
This sentence does not follow politically, socially and economically
@anton So you say, but I refuse to kiss the dotard’s disgusting and sickening butt just to make someone happy so they will call it bi-partisan and respectable. The man lies every time he opens his mouth and makes me want to puke. Therefore, I really do not care if you think my sentence is politically, socially, or economically correct. I’m tired of dotard supporters demanding everyone bow and coo to the fascist, communist dic[tator]. I will not.
Now can we get back to discussing the debate that was not a debate, but rather a circus for the clown.
Again you use the word communist. Your criticism is significantly invalidated when you do so.
