Steven Bannon, finally nails it for us: "WE ARE NOT REASONABLE MEN!"

But we knew that since the Breitbart days.

The first part is worth listening to, but I wanted to get to the main course

Days before the anniversary of the MAGA insurrection at the Capitol, former Trump aide Peter Navarro admitted to the plot to overturn the election on The Beat. His combative interview has made headlines around the globe, and even Trump ally Steve Bannon has weighed in, saying he and Navarro “are unreasonable” men. MSNBC’s Chief Legal Correspondent Ari Melber discusses the significance of Navarro’s admission with former SDNY prosecutor John Flannery. (This segment is from MSNBC’s “The Beat with Ari Melber,"

A little history to refresh the memory.
This is rough, but wanna get it out there - these articles are important for anyone who cares and wants to get engaged, a lot of history, a long game, and the clock is running down.

{Thanks to COVID what was part-time has become full time, should a been in bed over an hour ago, but it this seems to matter as much as those two little one’s upstairs. night night}

Didn’t know he was still in power. Thanks

Yeah, apparently there’s a lot you don’t know.

Yes Bannon is still a key power as the spiritual and intellectual “braintrust” of the delusionals who think destroying our government is going to solve anything.

It’s called politics.

Unenlightened, egotistical, sociopathic, unjust, toxic, racist, kleptocratic, neo-fascist politics. Wielded by a mad axman . The trees love him. He has a wooden handle. It’s the opportunity cost of the eusociality of a pack monkey.

A common meme going around is the timeline for Hitler. How he got arrested, did his time, came back, got elected, etc.

Trump (i.e. the Koch bros.) will never be arrested, and he’ll be back in 3 years. All a damn sight quicker than Hitler’s fall and rise. God help us all. I can see California and the rest of the W. coast seceding. It’s the only hope for the world.

I think cc was responding to the comment about Bannon not being in power.

Actually , after the Beer Hall Putsch Hitler was convicted of treason and did 9 months (!) in jail.

Beer Hall Putsch

The Beer Hall Putsch, also known as the Munich Putsch,[1][note 1] was a failed coup d’état by Nazi Party (Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei or NSDAP) leader Adolf Hitler, Generalquartiermeister Erich Ludendorff and other Kampfbund leaders in Munich, Bavaria, on 8–9 November 1923, during the Weimar Republic. Approximately two thousand Nazis marched on the Feldherrnhalle, in the city centre, but were confronted by a police cordon, which resulted in the deaths of 16 Nazi Party members and four police officers.[2]

> Hitler escaped immediate arrest and was spirited off to safety in the countryside. After two days, he was arrested and charged with treason.[3]

The putsch brought Hitler to the attention of the German nation for the first time and generated front-page headlines in newspapers around the world. His arrest was followed by a 24-day trial, which was widely publicised and gave him a platform to express his nationalist sentiments to the nation. Hitler was found guilty of treason and sentenced to five years in Landsberg Prison,[note 2] where he dictated Mein Kampf to fellow prisoners Emil Maurice and Rudolf Hess.

On 20 December 1924, having served only nine months, Hitler was released.[4][5] Once released, Hitler redirected his focus towards obtaining power through legal means rather than by revolution or force, and accordingly changed his tactics, further developing Nazi propaganda.[6]

Heed this little piece of history.
