On behalf of a good friend who is going through breast cancer treatment as well as having just lost a relative to cancer, I am searching for a secular cancer support group in the Toronto area. In her attempt to find a group she has been inundated with religion and woo (so many scam cancer cures, etc). She has not been treated well which is really horrible. I am hoping to find at least an informal group or just some people who are going through similar so that she can feel safe to talk and give as well as receive support.
Face to face would be ideal but online could work too.
