I’m still wondering how trump got some of those documents in the first place.
If they were used at a meeting, shouldn’t the documents and copies be controlled and tracked?
I suppose that may have been partly why Archives and DOJ/FBI knew he still had some of the documents.
I imagine there is a lot of Security Policy re-writing these days.
Yep, Trump has managed to destroy trust in government altogether and a Democracy depends on the trust and good-will of the people. It is a civilized form of government.
Unfortunately, the uncivilized mob has been loosed on the Democracy and it remains to be seen if the damage can be ever undone.
That’s how we end up with so many miniscule, crazy laws because somebody figured out how to game the system between the rules.

Video from May 8, 2021 taken by the DailyMail has resurfaced showing Trump boarding a jet from Florida to Bedminster with multiple boxes bearing a strong resemblance to boxes of top secret materials found at Mar-a-Lago. On May 6, NARA had contacted Trump’s team saying documents were missing and may be at Mar-a-Lago.
“Better check Bedminster…” Strzok tweeted. “On May 6, [the National Archives and Records Administration] emails Trump to say material is missing and may be at [Mar-a-Lago]. On May 9, Trump gets on a private plane from Palm Beach to Bedminster. On video, several boxes are seen loaded onto the plane.”
The President of the United States personally overseeing the transfer of boxes from one location to another, in response to an alarm that secret files are missing, speaks volumes of the personal interest the president had in their importance.
This guy was, is, and always will be an enemy of the state.
How is it they say, it gets interestinger and interestinger.

Trump’s lawyers told Judge Dearie in the filing that they don’t want to answer that question now. Trump is not off to a good start before the special master.

I’ve still to hear any stories of militia violences, the voter watch in AZ was obnoxious, but didn’t amount to anything.
All seems quiet on the western front and makes for a nice sense of relief when I get up in the morning.
