Resource management and reason

So, once again I’m reading one of my magazines - the humanist at the moment.
I get to this paragraph that says,

“Through providing resources with the Secular Services Votes program, the Secular Coalition for America, American Atheists, American Humanist Association, Center for Inquiry, Freedom From Religion Foundation, and Secular Student Alliance aim to …”

I then turn the page only to see an ad for the Center for Freethought Equality.

How do all of these groups coordinate their efforts and resources? When I croak, whom should I include in my will? Wouldn’t centralization benefit all of these noble causes? Is there centralization that I’m unaware of other than like causes?

Not that I know of. Atheist conventions were on the rise before Covid, although there were cracks in the coalition even then. FFRF still has an annual, TAM is done, American Atheists are a good clearinghouse.

It could be that the strength of the movement will be in the diversity. Churches fought most of their history and that wasn’t good for sales. All of these groups support each other.
