If I didn’t know this person, I would swear it was written by a writer who had created this character. But this is my brother-in-law. I don’t think he knows when he is hurting people and when he is being a sweetheart. I hope you enjoy this bit of Christmas cheer.

I think he’s inadvertently pinned down one of the main reasons that real cultural progress can happen in such an astonishingly slow manner in certain segments of society.
Knowing him, either they don’t bother disagreeing with him, or if they do, he doesn’t hear it. He kind of lives in his own little world.
