Anyone else getting sick of all these liberal celebrities telling us how bad Trump is, how we should “stand up to authoritarianism”, etc. etc. Springsteen, DeNiro, and Jane Fonda, of all people, come to mind. I agree with their sentiments, but you know what, most of us live paycheck to paycheck or close to it. They OTOH could easily come up with literally hundreds of millions of dollars to put together say a new social platform, a new news organization, you name it, to battle the rightward drift. And yet all I hear is them telling us to do this and that. The Cons OTOH raise money, start think tanks, like doing it is a bodily function, and they get results - the wrong results, but still the results they’re after. Thoughts?

Not false, but off target, mainly.
Last election, Trump has not increased his number of voters, Dems have lost many of theirs.
People want the Dems to address theirs worries, specially the ones of the middles-classes, in a credible way. Either they know Trump is a fascist, either they don’t know and don’t give a dam.

I think that’s an argument for rich liberals to do more. Like sell a couple mansions for starters. It is Democrats government to lose. Obama showed the way by talking to smaller communities, among other things.

I figured out long ago to ignore what celebrities say. Nearly all of them are idiots and they don’t really care about anything besides themselves.
