Heard this on NPR today. Not sure if it’s multiple episodes or not.
It reminded of conspiracy theories today. The people today who are looking for someone to blame don’t have it as easy as the good old days. Back then, blaming commies or gays was all rolled into one, and they had government support.
Now, you get fined for discrimination. There are laws that make you serve everybody. So, they go after some vague “woke” crowd. They go after uniformed privileged housewives. After people who eat food they believe is healthy. Or, better still, believe who believe science.
