In Memoriam: Edd Doerr

Not sure how many here have heard of Edd Doerr, but just in case, he died this month. He was 89. The Memoriam doesn’t say what he died of, so I assume it was natural causes. I do know, we had a couple written interactions via email and he assisted me with a paper I wrote in college. I found him very friendly and encouraging, as well as helpful. He’ll be missed.
