In a separate attack, exploding walking-talkies kill 14

And that is one of the reasons why Judaism is fundamentally more peaceful than Christianity and Islam.

For this thread, where you are defending the Jews, that’s a question you need to answer. I’m saying part of their religion says they should welcome the stranger and be peaceful. Problem.is, some of them think God said they own that land.

Were they not driven from that (to them Holy) land to begin with?

Jewish Roots in the Land of Israel/Palestine

The Jewish people have a very ancient history in the land known both as Palestine and the Land of Israel. The Jewish claim to indigeneity is based on a three-thousand-year-old continuous history and the status of the land since ancient times as the focus of Jewish life and yearning.

While not denying Arab claims on the land, it must be recognized that in Israel, the Jews are not settler colonists.

Zionists deny Arab claims. You deny they do.

A couple of hypersonic missiles fired at the knesset should end the madness

And who is going to fire them?

Apparently you are not getting the message. Gaza should have taught you a clear lesson.
Any attack on Israel will be returned 10 times more lethal.

Why not advise the Islamists to stop their terror attacks altogether? Then Israel has no excuse to retaliate.

Then go back to slowly pushing people out of settlements and treating non-Jews like second class citizens.

No, the article says they do not deny the Arab claims.

It is just that Arabs deny Israel’s claim to their homeland.

Israel in war with Iran Lebanon, syria iraq turkey. A terrorist state !!!

And on your hasbara on Ancient Israel, it was a kingdom where the Israelites only dominated the other tribes for 200 years, not a country. There was no such thing as countries/modern nation states anywhere in the world until after the 1600s. Nation states were a European invention. Palestine was first mentioned in 500bc by the Greeks. It was the Greek word for the same region as ancient Israel, but who cares? Britain is a Roman word, does that mean British people don’t exist? Did native Americans not exist before 1492? It’s colonial semantics nonsense. The anthropological and genetic research shows that 90% of the Palestinians descend from Jews who converted to Christianity and Islam. They never left the land, regardless of what it was called by whom when. Shakespeare mentioned Palestine and it appears on maps from the 1700s onwards. It was a legally, culturally and politically recognised entity internationally to which Jews had to apply for passports pre 1948. 97% of Jews in Israel today are as indigenous to Palestine as Australians will be to Britain in two thousand years. And half the European Jews have no Middle Eastern DNA anyway. You can be a white atheist Jew and get some Palestinian’s house.

The article is not about Zionists. It doesn’t say what the Zionists say or think. It’s weird that you deny this

Heart for that, except for the last line. Which I deleted.

So you admit that Jews have an original claim, or do you argue that Jews did not exist prior to the modern establishment of Israel?

All your arguments apply to Jews as well as all other branches. That is why it is conceded that Arabs have claim. But why do you dispute the valid Jewish Claim?

Let me remind you that the OT (Hebrew Bible) is the oldest of judeo-christian scriptures.

Seems to me that establishes an original homeland and Jews did not disappear after they were driven from that land. They just got scattered, due to persistent discrimination and persecution.

It’s hard to believe that you have been on this forum for this long, and would still use the OT as an historical source. We don’t do as much in the “Religion” section as we used to, but this is ground that has been well covered. No matter what slim historical evidence there is, it does not come close to justifying recent Israeli actions. The 1948 take over of the land was a vestige of British Imperial rule, something else I don’t think you support, and is unsupportable.

I am not using my perspective on Judeo-Christian scripture. I am using their perspective. This has been a religious war since its inception.

The 1948 take over of the land was a vestige of British Imperial rule, something else I don’t think you support, and is unsupportable.

That is a very vague statement. Question is what was the justification for that arrangement?
Until I know why that was even considered by that International cabal, I am using the religious interpretation that the bible is truth (in their eyes).

Question: When Ukraine strikes back inside Russia and kills Russian civilians will they have become ruthless killers or are they defending their homeland?
Do you see the juxtaposition?

The fact that the region has been called Palestine in some form or fashion depending on language (Peleset by the Ancient Egyptians for example) by more people than it ever was called Israel annoys the hell out of the “Israel is 3000 years old!” crowd, you bring one.

United Monarchy of Israel lasted less than a century before splitting into two: Judah and Northern Kingdom of Israel often referred to as Samaria by others such as the Assyrians until they destroyed it. Judah carried on until destroyed by Babylonians in 587 BCE. The remnants of Judah would be under Persian control not gaining full autonomy until the 2nd Century BCE.

The Maccabbees/Hasmonean Period lasted just over a century before the Romans became involved and gradually took over making the region a client state. Less than two centuries later, the Romans completely crushed resistance in the 130s CE leading to the Diaspora. While some Jews remained in the land with some of their descendants converting to Christianity and Islam the European stock spent almost more time out of Israel than their distant ancestors spent inside it where they were often under the rule of another group.

So you maintain that Jews have no rights to any land? That is the declared vow by IslamistS, NO?

Palestine was founded before the prophet Jacob( Israel ) before Moses and during the time of prophet Abraham it was originally called Canaan then it was changed to Judea in the time of Solomon and David and after that it was changed to Palästina which turned into Palestine from Latin to english

And Jews did not originate anywhere in that region? They just appeared out of thin air?

I repeat my question: Do Jews have any claim to any land in that region?

p.s. Where did the Canaanites go to? I do also see a land named Judah.

Is that where Jews came from?

The Kingdom of Judah[a] was an Israelite kingdom of the Southern Levant during the Iron Age. Centered in the highlands to the west of the Dead Sea, the kingdom’s capital was Jerusalem.[3] It was ruled by the Davidic line for four centuries.[4] Jews are named after Judah, and primarily descend from people who lived in the region.[5][6][7]

The Hebrew Bible depicts the Kingdom of Judah as one of the two successor states of the United Kingdom of Israel, a term denoting the united monarchy under biblical kings Saul, David, and Solomon and covering the territory of Judah and Israel.

Jews weren’t indigenous people. History book and even Bible say before jew there are Canaan people. And please don’t say Canaan is jews.

Why not? Palestinians have Canaanite roots, but not Jews?

And if Jews were not indigenous, where did they come from? And where did the Canaanites disappear to? Sounds to me that everybody took turns eradicating everyone else. This has become a case of “last man standingz”
