This is from a couple of weeks ago. TPUSA is still doing well. Surprising, after watching the intros and prayer, that leadership doesn’t look strong to me. Anyway, I’ll give some bookmarks so you can skip that.

Opening and Prayer
4:00 – introduces himself
6:45 – Columbus and Europeans, “came in and did what we wanted’. Then he skips 280 years to early immigration.
9:00 – People either are coming here to be Americans or coming with their own objectives
10:15 – If your first move is to enter the country illegally then either you are being chased or there might be a red flag in your life.
Gets into some slippery data. Claims if we deported all undocumented that would automatically eliminate the 5% who are criminals
19:00 If we enforced the verification of workers, they wouldn’t get jobs and Americans would get them.
Throughout – Speaks strongly on obeying the law and ignores that we created those laws.
Doesn’t seem to have a grasp on how immigration changed in the last 100 years. At 25:30 he says the system has been broken for “maybe 20 years.”
Q&A – first guy doesn’t understand immigration, so he’s easily dealt with in the way these speakers do, by tripping people up with illogical questions
37 – What about people who come here to work? He adds to the “they take our jobs” claim with a claim that if we enforced eVerify, unemployment would go to zero. Tries to conflate people working with slavery. Makes several wild claims about how things are getting better. I dropped out because it’s too much to bother.
42 – Next guy tries to handle facts, pointing out germs killed the natives and they couldn’t have known that was why. Can’t nail him down on how the problem is that Americans want prostitutes, but we don’t arrest the people creating that need.
45 – AK admits he was a drug dealer, as a way to say the knows all about how organized crime works. Ryan calls him unbiblical, and he was a pastor so he knows. AK has to do more hand waving.
There’s more. It got heavy into the “who knows Jesus better” stuff and I left.
