How the conservative thinking of today is working to destroy democracy

You choose fascism? -- anton
Post something other than just baiting. We've all been patient with you. Start defining your terms and clarifying your positions.
You choose fascism?
Did I say that? Did I say I choose anything? If you had to choose between having sex with that one animal I'm thinking of and having sex with a donkey which would you choose? You would likely choose not to answer a stupid question using terms not clearly defined in an obvious attempt to bait you into taking what you say literally and ignoring what you mean so that I can paint you as somehow evil, stupid or both.

Your definition of “socialist” is interesting given the way Republicans use it today. I don’t know of any Democrat plan to completely rid the country of the free market. I would wager that this is not the definition going through your head when you’re labeling “lefties” as “socialist” because they want Medicare for all.

Can you awswer the question instead of gish galloping?

Okay, this little shit party of yours is over. I’m not a damned moron who is going to fall into your devious trap so that you can pull some bullshit argument out of your ass by taking me out of context. I’m not stupid enough to answer an obvious bait question using poorly defined terms so that you can tell me what I think instead of asking me what I think. And no, asking me your bait question is not “asking me what I think”, it’s steering me toward an answer you want me to give by offering only two choices and refusing to define what you’re getting at before I answer the question.

You have done well to twist yourself in knots. Damn right to expose contradictory positions

Interesting article on some of the ‘Socialist’ countries that I find are often used when discussing socialism. Mini descriptions of each of them start half-way down the page. None are pure socialist, but instead use a combination of socialist and capitalist ideas. I’ve always felt that taking the best parts of all the systems of government and economy is better than just using any one of them.

B.T.W., Anton, most of these folks are way smarter than average. Explain your question fully when posing it. It’ll actually get answered, prevent misunderstandings and create some goodwill.

Dont be a jerk 3point. I am not talking about social democracts. Voting for a socialist that implements socialism and abolishes capitalism

@anton actually we do have a choice to for for Socialism or Democratic Socialism in the U.S. Most states you have to write it in, but all parties that are out there do exist in the U.S. including the Communist Party of America, which can be found using the search engine of your choice.

Here is the Democratic Socialist of America’s website: https://www.dsausa.org/ Enjoy reading all about the party. BTW, I didn’t see 3point14rat being a jerk.

A society without capitalism. What is so hard to grasp here??

Not sure what you mean by your question when I was talking about Democratic Socialism, not Capitalism. There is nothing wrong with a society without Capitalism, which has big problems, especially with greed.

You keep on going on about democratic socialism when thats not the choice i was asking

@anton Yes, it was.

You asked on post #337587

Widdershin – could i ask you if we had a choice of voting to putting a socialist or a fascist into power , who would you vote for?

I’m not Widdershin, but I would choose the Democratic Socialist party, which is a form of Socialism, over a fascist dictator (like the dotard, who is damn close to being like Hitler, if not exactly like him)

You keep on going on about democratic socialism when thats not the choice i was asking -- anton
Again, people are working hard to clarify what you are saying and/or asking and you are getting frustrated with them for not knowing what you are saying. You need to work on being clear anton. I like short and sweet posts, but not when they are unclear.

Here is then - trotsky or trump? Is that crystal clear?

Not really, unless trotsky is the Democratic Socialist. Then I’d vote for him because the dotard is the fascist.

He was not a DS. Not really now?

Look if he wasn’t a socialist then why the heck did you throw it out there? Make your point or quit with the thread.

DS = socialism???

@anton It’s in the friggin name- Democratic Socialism. rolling eyes

Hello Mirana - crash course in political theory

social democrats reject revolution and think bourgeois parliamentism can be used to establish socialism. democratic socialists main strategy usually consists in participating on the bourgeois elections and trying to change it by gradual reforms from inside the state.
History shows us the failure of democratic socialism in achieving a socialist state.

Therefore i gave the choice of trotsky (the revolutionary) vs trump.

This dichotomy seems to completely beyond you ( massive face palm)
