Not unlike the issue itself, youâve over generalized things in your title. Itâs not âFranceâ, but only certain political parties in Franceâs government. And THATâs the main problem with the âanti-Semitismâ issue. I suspect in the case of âanti-Semitismâ itâs by design: The Zionists want people to conflate things so that criticism of their policies is regarded as criticism of the religion itself, i.e. Jews in general. And they go to great lengths to purposely confuse the issue to keep up the pretense. This is similar to what the far right in the US does - any criticism of their conservative/Evangelical Christian political moves and youâll get called âanti-Christianâ. Itâs quite a scam, but itâs effective until people start to see whatâs really going on.
And just to mention the flipside, in my own experience, which I think is pretty much like most peopleâs experience, by and large Christians and Jews tend to be liberal-leaning, open minded, and very tolerant of others. And not very politically active, sort of live and let live. Only when the conservatives join in and try to un-separate church and state, force political action, i.e. do not live and let live, do things go off the rails, and you get what I described above.
