Ending Christian Nationalism

Believe it or not, there are some things I don’t have time for. This one would involve getting together with people from a church. But, hear me out, they are talking about the bad Christianity, you know, not the good kind that only believes in heaven. Anyway, anybody know someone doing this? I’ve always felt that “they”, the Christians, need to talk amongst themselves. Similar to how Republican congressmen need to stand up to a Republican President. Which, of course, that’ll happen.

We have many Christian friends. They all despise Christian nationalism and what it has done to their religion and the country. Sadly, my son has been hijacked by Fox and xtian nationalism.

Oh gosh that would hurt.

Sorry to hear it.

Have you had any conversations with him about how his conversion happened?

Yeah, it sucks. It’s kinda just the nature of some religious people. I’m sure that his friends are surprised and disappointed that his dad is an atheist.

The difference is that, as an atheist, I don’t tell anyone how they should be.

The word " nationalist " is a semantic trap.

Because these so called nationalists don’t hesitate to work against their motherland for ideological reasons.

An exemple: in 1939, in France, the so called nationalists preferred Hitler to the " Front populaire ", an alliance of left and center parties, against fascism.
