A bit late to this party. It’s a cold wet Saturday here and I’m bored.
Just one question about Bigfoot, the Yeti and all such creatures: where, pray tell are the breeding populations which would be needed for these creatures to survive for centuries?

To some extent as long as we collectively choose to ignore the reality that there are places where the water goes under the mountains, and we refuse to map the water flow to fully understand–well more anyways–of planetary hydrology, then people will have excuses to see monsters that aren’t there. Ancient maps had monsters where the world was supposed to end and the water fell off the edge, and until we went and looked, nobody was willing to admit that the monsters weren’t there. Similarly the inability of explorers to map the underground leaves the question open to any idea.
