Climate Change

Do you close your windows when you see rain coming?

The equivocation from Mr Heads comment above for climate action is to just turn up your aircon when it gets hotter! Problem fixed!

That last comment indicates your narcissistic world. You are always right , everyone else is always wrong. But there is a name for that. It’s an old Indian term for a person who shows the difference between agreement and delusion, i.e. “a contrary”. They were always given wide berth. You didn’t want meet and say “hello” and get the response of “goodbye”.

No I am using his logic and reasoning and applying it to climate action

No you are not paying any attention to his reasoning and logic. You are skimming for a word that allows you take offense, without making an effort to understand what the poster is trying to convey in toto.

I understand what he is saying and highlight how ridiculous it is when applied to climate action. You have an agenda here to be a spoiler to that conversation

You don’t have conversations. You have critiques, endless critiques , without offering anything substantial in return.

I could say exacltly the same thing to you

DJ’s drive to refudiate all mitigating solutions to climate action exemplifies a populous blindness irregardless of consequences!

…with a little vinaigrette and basil, and you have a wonderful word salad :stuck_out_tongue:

On here, just your so called solution strawman

No, you cannot. I have offered a constructive solution, along with informative links, for a viable solution to mitigate the accumulation of CO2 in the earth’s atmosphere.

You just ignored it as if it was the ravings of an ignorant fool, instead of doing even a minimal amount of research as to the real benefits of hemp.

I have done some extensive reading on the subject and what I suggested is established yet underused science. And you just shrugged your shoulders.

I am the only one here that came out and said I agree with you as in being one part of solution. My conversation with you was the mechanism to make this a reality. Remember that? I gave you my points for taking action on AGW which you completely avoided. Pot calling kettle black

“The government is seeking to achieve net zero emissions as soon as possible,” Prime Minister Scott Morrison said in Parliament on Monday. “We’re seeking to do that by using technologies, not taxes.”

The operative word is “net zero emissions”. As long as we install CO2 scrubbers we don’t have to stop using polluting energy completely. All we need is to minimize use and install an equal amount of scrubbers . That may halt any runaway climate change, until we have developed non polluting energy production, such as solar, wind, and tidal energy conversion.

Net zero is a furphy. Still means you are emitting. This is not what is called for in a code red alert

A code red alert requires zero CO2 emission in order to reduce CO2.

In balancing the net zero output, it allows for some use of CO2 polluting industries.

IOW, you are not increasing CO2 and any CO2 that is emitted will be scrubbed. That will be an perfect temporary solution without needing retool the entire planet from fossil fuel consumption.

The retooling is the problem . It will take decades to switch over to green energy. In the mean time all we need to do is bring a halt to increasing CO2, by installing scrubbing and sequestering biologies and technologies.

And that can be argued for anything. And you use it as often as possible.
It’s like continually asking “Why”

You say … well, I’m not sure anymore what you actually said Yes too…
Anyways, What is the mechanism to make that a reality?

Not from direct solar conversion, that’s a given. If they use additional CO2 emitters to make batteries or other storage and transmission devices, that is not attributable to solar, that is greed and avoiding existing narrow regulations

And bickering from what I can tell. There isn’t an actual conversation about climate change here.

You could say it, but that won’t make it true. I remember the things Write4U said. He spends most of his time offering facts and information and only some of his time in pointless arguments with you. You spend almost all of your time putting down what others say. I can vaguely remember you supporting a few political options, but anything positive you have said is buried in a mountain of negative.

That post would come under bickering
