Youre the one who pretends to know he is too busy. There is no more confronting or important issue that needs to be addressed right now.

I think that the virus pandemic has some priority right now. People are actually dying as we speak, by the thousands . The economy is in shambles.
Current death-toll stands at :
United States
Coronavirus Cases: 35,199,465 Deaths: 626,762 Recovered: 29,511,909https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/us/
The Republican Senate has vowed to oppose anything that Biden may want to introduce to begin solving a National Crisis affecting 328,000,000 people. Are you suggesting Biden is not concerned? I don’t see him playing golf every day, do you? So what occupies your mind today?

Sounds a bit like you. Can’t do 2 things at once.
Go have a lie down old man
@djtexas, your name-calling is getting out of hand. We allow some adult language here, but not a long-standing pattern of ad hominem. Ageism is a protected class in any other situation. Your words are not vulgar, but they still are out of line with the standards of polite and constructive discourse.
Cars stranded in streets turned to rivers. Bus passengers rescued by raft. Train stations submerged, sparking travel chaos. The now-familiar scenes of a city inundated by floods played out in London over the weekend, when heavy rainfall put parts of the UK capital underwater.
When two London hospitals turned non-emergency patients away after getting flooded over the weekend, it was a brutal reminder that even some of the world’s richest cities are dangerously unprepared for the kind of extreme weather that is becoming more common and more severe because of climate change.

@djtexas Go have a lie down old manIt's a sad thing when one depends on putting others down, in order to prop up one's own self esteem.
Besides, wait till you’re an old man, you’ll learn to appreciate the beauty of a nice mid-day nap. ?

What? No useless cut and paste slabs that only end the conversation with its too late to do anything about climate change?
I think Mike and cc might be the same person

Head is cheerleading trumps building of walls around his coastal golf courses to combat rising seas.
Way to go Head!

Yeah - the ivory tower picture! Ha ha
@djtexas 347743“but I can’t think of ‘solutions’ anymore, it’s too later for that, it’s out of our hands. ”
Well you are rather useless in this conversation. Please divorce yourself from this thread.
Can’t say nothing to make you happy.
Well I shared my observations, there’s no describing how I’d love to be wrong. I’m just saying based on my experience and understanding of this planet’s biosphere and history, it’s what it is, show me different. I believe answers lie in honesty and learning about this Earth of ours, her history, and the answers within our own biology.
Suddenly you want optimism and fixing it. What the heck is your game? What have you done to help fix your little corner of the world?
Have you shared one honest thing about your outlook? How would you answer some of your own questions?
At least I’m trying to do that, what are you doing? This is a forum for people who want to share and open up a little, chew the fat, so to speak. Stop acting so ridiculously superior and join the discussion, even if that means chilling a bit and opening up a little, let your humanity shine through, not like any us know you , so you’re safe here.
So tell us, what have you been doing to better your little corner of the world?
?

You and Mike. At the end of the day, I can’t tell the difference. Oh lordie!
DJ, question: Are you vaccinated against covid?
Not yet. Relevance?
Not yet. Relevance?I didn't think so.
If you cannot understand the relevance after one and a half years of a worldwide viral pandemic, it is of no use explaining it to you.

No because the govt hasn’t purchased enough doses to give to the population after essential workers and those most at risk were vaccinalated. Stocks to arrive in October.
You walked into that one , didn’t you?
No because the govt hasn’t purchased enough doses to give to the population after essential workers and those most at risk were vaccinalated. Stocks to arrive in October.Where do you live? You can walk into any pharmacy and get a free shot, sometimes of choice.
You walked into that one , didn’t you?No, why don't you walk into a pharmacy and get your vaccination so that you pose no risk to the people you interact with. If you want to run the risk of getting the virus that's your choice. But your responsibility to society demands you do not wittingly pose a risk to the health of others.
You can carry this freedom of speech and choice of medical attention a little too far when you deliberately pose a risk to your community.
If I were in charge I would round up all unvaccinated persons and place them in quarantine, until they would take the vaccine. I think it is obvious by now that would have prevented a second front of the pandemic by a much more virulent strain of the virus and a risk for a further exponential mutation rate.

Pfizer vaccine is what the govt says under 50s must take. This is not available yet.
Ok Professor?
