Cannabis and religion

“When in doubt ask the people of the book” that’s the Qur’an referring to the Bible and Christians so I’ll stick with that

So much evidence it still remains a theory full of holes, worm, black or poked. Either way “some” people choose to believe in it because they hate the fact that according to scripture we will all face judgement, not based on our good deeds but our sins and repentance from them, that’s spite whichever way you deem it

Wow

What?

Where?

When?

By whom?

  1. The Bible
  2. All over the world
  3. Over 2000 years ago
  4. The Apostles

You seem to know a whole lot about something you don’t believe in,

It is a known fact that atheists know more about religions than religious people.

Atheists, agnostics most knowledgeable about religion, survey says

Atheists, agnostics most knowledgeable about religion, survey says

That extra knowledge is the cause for atheism or agnoticism. Human religions are so typically human that they could not possibly be divinely inspired.

It is the same principle that where it comes to Global Warming that religious people say “God will provide”, whereas knowledgeable science warns of catastrophe based on factual information.

I didn’t say that atheists weren’t more knowledgeable I mentioned it was a waste of their time, Christians shouldn’t learn about other religions, that survey apart from pointless takes into consideration the fact that atheists study all religions to debunk them, which is fine the problem is when they can’t or they are debunked themselves

The science of atheism

The problem that any rational thinker needs to tackle, though, is that the science increasingly shows that atheists are no more rational than theists. Indeed, atheists are just as susceptible as the next person to “group-think” and other non-rational forms of cognition. For example, religious and nonreligious people alike can end up following charismatic individuals without questioning them. And our minds often prefer righteousness over truth, as the social psychologist Jonathan Haidt has explored.

Oh, that’s not even wrong. How can atheism debunk itself???

OTOH, religions debunk each other, often for lack of any evidence, whereas science rests on demonstrable and repetitive proofs based on evidence.

In the spiritual world the Magic rests in a voluntary imaginary projection ( a Tulpa).

Tulpa is a concept in mysticism and the paranormal of a being or object which is created through spiritual or mental powers.[1] It was adapted by 20th century theosophists from Tibetan sprul-pa (Tibetan: སྤྲུལ་པ་, Wylie: sprulpa) which means "emanation" or "manifestation"

Tulpa - Wikipedia

In the material world Physics rests on the demands of natural physical laws, the stuff one has to deal with on a daily basis.

420; You know we’ve heard this stuff before right? I know it’s in your book that you’re supposed to talk about your religion, but I don’t think it says you are supposed to call people stupid or wrong. Anyway, how could we avoid it? Do you think we don’t notice Christmas? Do you think we don’t notice people trying to teach religion in schools? First, I was once a Christian, second, I need to understand what you want so I can understand how to live with you.

Besides all that, you are aware that there are 6 billion people who don’t share your beliefs right? Are they all going to burn in hell?

Religions can debunk themselves but atheists can’t? ?

Man I’m not gonna go over this again, it’s a theory and its based on the scientifical impossibility that nothing created everything, an explosion that instead of devastating and causing chaos, created the solar system and perfect life forms, now that sounds like magic

Your entire conceptualization is flawed. Atheism is not a science, no different than that religion is not science. They are belief systems.

Of course their respective beliefs rest on understanding the justifications on which the “considered” logical beliefs emanate. The Implicate.

The Magical (spiritual being) or Reality (the physical existence).

What’s up with you guys claiming I said stuff I didn’t,? Stupid? Might have made himsel look like one, that’s not my fault, but Christians are told to tell people when they are wrong, it’s like an older brother trying to make his siblings do the right thing, he might be harsh but he does it because he loves them, I’m flawed and still learning but where I come from disrespect is a serious offense

Lausten we’ve heard you guys say the and same thing overover and over again too, it’s a doctrine all over the world, and that Christian imposition in schools doesn’t happen everywhere nor nearly as much. So you probably oppose transgenders reading stories to preschoolers or teaching sexual diversity to children too right?, and yes, whoever doesn’t turn to Christianity and repent from their sins, according to the Bible will perish, I’m not glad about that in the last bit but there is definitely a hell and unfortunately many will end up there, says the Bible, don’t shoot the messenger

420; You’re just not even trying. You haven’t added anything to what you said 4 or 5 pages ago. We get it, you think God created the universe. Lots of people think that. Repeating it won’t help.

I was talking to the guy who chimed in recently I was repeating for him, I just added a ducie on the last post, and btw Christmas is a pagan Catholic ceremony, not Christian

You better go over this again. You do not have the faintest clue of the contradiction you included in that statement.

The explosion DID create chaos, and from the chaos came order and all the astounding physical expressions of mathematical probabilities, (patterns) such as life.

You may want to look into Chaos theory, and the potential for a self-organizing universe. Much easier to deal with than the concept of a bored non-physical motivated intelligence.

Order out of chaos, that’s textbook masonic/satanic

I’m good with theories, I leave them to Atheists

Wow impressive, got on your nerves huh?
Actually, yeah. In a laughing way. Too bad I don't get high; guess it would have helped.

Two things get on my nerves; “writers” being unprofessional and making the rest of us look bad; and people who think they are “saved” by Jesus, but lack even the most basic understanding of what they claim to believe.

And a Latin?
Huh? What is "a Latin?"

From the 4th to the 16th Century, Bibles were either in Greek or in Latin. Martin Luther was the first person to translate it into a modern language (German). I thought you studied language …?

you just read antisemitism and said oh I’m gonna use that
Uh, no.
you know Catholicism is not Christianity at all?
This is amazing. ... My head spins every time I hear this.

Yeah, other than the fact that they codified and assembled the Bible; came up with the Virgin Birth, the Trinity, the Dual Nature of Christ, baptism, communion, atonement, etc. etc., yep, the Catholics & Orthodox had nothing to do with Christianity. ? My God, y’all…

Luther was deceived
Luther is the one who BROKE FROM the Catholic church.

Please tell me you have heard of the Protestant Reformation. Please.

he wasn’t completely wrong the Jewish talmud does talk againt Christians
Gah. No. It mentions someone named Yeshua, who may or may not have been Jesus, and in Medieval times, ... never mind. The point was that he provided step-by-step instructions that Hitler followed later.
grow up become a real man
Is my profile photo visible...?
reading and writing don’t seem to be your thing
LOL M'Kay
I prefer believing in something that was actually witnessed and documented.
Actually, many, many people said they witnessed miracles by Siddhārtha Gautama (the Buddha), and they wrote about them 600 years prior to Jesus. So if that's what you are looking for, check out Buddhism ?

Wow
@Lausten

Right? ?

Christians shouldn’t learn about other religions
Why?

Two-thirds of the world is NOT Christian. What if you are wrong? You could wind up in some other religion’s hell ?
