How ironic, my daughter and her husband spent their last couples vacation with a week long canoe trip up there. She and her husband had a great time. I also have a couple friends from near there, with Indian blood so they have family and access to the res. (south of the Lake Superior) wonderful stories. Some day I’d like to make it up there.
Oh as for the young couple they are now a family of three. Four grandkids in five years, my head is starting to spin (plus the two in there 20s). Though this last one is the only one with my blood, so it’ll be a trip meeting her. So poetic for it to be a girl too. I started with a gal as a wombie, had a wonderful mom & Oma, two sisters, then my own daughter with that moment of actually touching the eternity of the generations of mother giving birth, that begat me. And now a beautiful healthy little granddaughter. Gotta run, tomorrow we fly. Cheers
