Since I’ve got mike up in arms about data dumps, it got me to thinking, perhaps it was time for a data dump I’ve been working on for a couple weeks.
You see, Americans for (Kochs) Prosperity has moved into town and my avoidance of their reality came to an end. A weekend of serious internet trawling and I knew I needed to start another information kiosk (even if it meant neglecting my fledgling CSC]), or as mike would classify it, a data dump blog. Why am I doing it? Because none of my neighbors seem aware or concerned about AFP, and that terrifies me. And okay I do feel hopeless, defeated, and terrified, but the thing is, that shouldn’t immobilize us. We still have now and at least need to make the effort, never know, the future is full of surprises. Plus doing nothing will only guarantee that it’ll be the worst possible outcome.
And besides, in the end, it really is the Journey and not the Destination that matters, since that destination is always the oblivion of death.
