I think that is over-reaching the complexity of reality. If anything we should focus on reducing reality to a state so simple that it was “necessary” for some dynamic event to get it all started. I am a firm believer in Occam’s Razor and that there is no such thing as “irreducible complexity”.

I’m thinking about the future reality and how far we can come in the last 100 years since computers were invented and where we are now. There is almost no limit for AI at the rate it going in my opinion. What we see in Star Trek might not be too many generations ahead of us imo.

Ai is an aspect, I am also thinking about a matrix, and a world as the one of "Snow crash ", mixed with 1984 and Aldous Huxley nightmare.

Maybe the nightmare has already begun? and only a small sect of humans can win in the end - we know that. All we can do perhaps is be as conscious as we can of what’s going eventually evolving us into totally self-conscious beings - which has its drawbacks as then you are always more conscious and worried about how you are perceived by others imo which reduces the fun in life.

I’ve not read those novels but there are many films which copy those ideas which we as seeing coming true imo.
