"A Very Stable Genius"

An ironically titled new book is just out. It is a historical account of the 1st few years of T rump’s administration, with insider perspectives, written by 2 Pulitzer Prize Winning journalists.

A Very Stable Genius

It shows that Donald John T rump is not about “America First”. He is about “Him First”. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/more-sports/security-officials-express-concerns-in-a-very-stable-genius/vi-BBZbJX7?ocid=spartanntp

Should be a hit with boomers.

Ironically that’s a very telling statement as only an idiot would say something like that.

Here are 5 tidbits from the new (soon to be best seller).https://www.alternet.org/2020/01/a-very-stable-genius-here-are-5-wild-details-from-a-new-book-about-trumps-uncontrolled-presidency/

 1. Trump was “eager” to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin even before he was officially in office.
 2. In spring of 2017, Trump also clashed with Tillerson when he told him he wanted his help getting rid of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, a 1977 law that prevents U.S. firms and individuals from bribing foreign officials for business deals.
 3. During Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation, officials at the Justice Department ran “fire drills” to game out scenarios they could follow if the president started trying to conduct his own “Saturday Night Massacre...
 4. Early in his presidency, Trump agrees to participate in an HBO documentary that features judges and lawmakers — as well as all the living presidents — reading aloud from the Constitution. But Trump struggles and stumbles over the text, blaming others in the room for his mistakes and griping, “It’s like a foreign language.”
 5. (When Barr got the finished Mueller report, and he released his own fake summary of it.) Barr’s summary personally offended Mueller, writing: “Members of the special counsel team would later describe Mueller’s reaction: He looked as if he’d been slapped.”

Almost like it was written specifically for you Tim. Boomer liberals are an extremely predictable market.

You know so much about boomers, Oneguy. What is your obsession with boomers about? Why so biased against them? They are old and dying off (maybe not fast enough for your liking). And some of them know more than you. Are they (in your worldview) responsible for all of the political ills in the world?

As far as the book having a predictable market, it doesn’t take a marketing genius to recognize that there are a large portion of Americans (more than just the Boomers that you like to malign) who want to know the details and depths of T rump’s corruption and incompetence.

Then there is the fact that in the 2016 election, persons over 45 yoa voted for T rump at 53% FOR and 44% against. Boomers went FOR T rump. And then, of course, T rump himself is a Boomer. I don’t think that he will like the book.

But maybe it is just “liberal” Boomers that you are biased against. I suppose you are fine with the proportion of Boomers who have always worked against the urges for reform.

When a self-proclaimed ‘extremely stable genius’ … isn’t

Opinion: Donald Trump did a little bragging about his brain Thursday. On such matters I defer to the late physicist Stephen Hawking, who said, 'People who boast about their IQ are losers.'

The real problem is one of : “great power in the hands of an incompetent person”

Stephen Hawking opinion is worthy of comment? What has he accomplished? In a secular world, brain power is measured in terms of tangible material results beneficial to people.

Sree snidely asks what Stephen Hawking accomplished, as if there were nothing. Sree, you make it so easy to show you up as a wannabe, but not there, yet, wise person.

Here are some things that Hawking accomplished.

https://learnodo-newtonic.com/stephen-hawking-accomplishments

 1. Along with Roger Penrose, he did ground-breaking work on singularities
 2. co-discovered the four laws of black hole mechanics
 3. developed the significant theory is that black holes emit the Hawking radiation
 4. contributed to the theory of cosmic inflation
 5. Along with James Hartle, he proposed an important model on universe’s initial state
 6. With Thomas Hertog, he proposed a theory of “top-down cosmology”
 7. wrote the famous book A Brief History of Time
 8. also authored: Black Holes and Baby Universes and Other Essays (1993), The Universe in a Nutshell (2001), On The Shoulders of Giants (2002), and God Created the Integers: The Mathematical Breakthroughs That Changed History (2005). He also co-authored a series of children fiction novels with his daughter Lucy Hawking.
 9. received numerous awards: became one of the youngest persons to be elected to the Royal Society of London. In 1982 he was made Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) by the Queen. In 1985 he was given the Gold Medal of the Royal Astronomical Society (RAS), the highest award given by the RAS. In 1987 he was awarded the Paul Dirac Medal by the Institute of Physics for his outstanding contributions to theoretical physics. In 1988, Hawking and Penrose were given the Wolf Prize, a prestigious international award granted in Israel.
 10. In 2002, he ranked as # 25 of the 100 Greatest Britons in history. In 2006, was awarded the Copley Medal from the Royal Society. In 2009 US President Barack Obama presented him the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian award of the United States. In 2013, Stephen Hawking was awarded the Russian Special Fundamental Physics Prize, which has been dubbed by the media as the ‘XXI Century Nobel’.

Well, yeah, but what has he done for us lately?

And thatoneguy should be terrified of boomers dying. Fox viewership would drop by about 90% overnight if all the boomers died. And a Republican wouldn’t have a snowball’s chance in hell of being elected anywhere by maybe Mississippi, the biggest welfare state in the nation. And that’s even with all their gerrymandering.
