A little scarey

How do keep putting in probability words in everything except the actual thing I’m pointing to? Do you know the difference between 99% sure and 100%? Do you know what “all” means? Do you know what “will” means? Or “every…ever”?

What did you mean when you said “I see no reason why …”

Look around you. Do you see things that were purely deterministic or do you see things that are mostly probabilistic, such as evolution. All of Explicate reality rests on a priori Implicate potential.

I started the topic. I’m closing it. The topic is theory of mind in robots. The topic is not the meaning of “potential” or “certainty”. This kind of evading of questions is what I expect from trolls, not long-time members. Take up in “Issues and Complaints” if you want.

I asked AI about that.

“All of Explicate reality rests on a priori Implicate potential” is a concept derived from the fields of philosophy and theoretical physics, suggesting that the observable, tangible world (Explicate reality) is built upon an underlying, less discernible layer of reality (Implicate potential) that exists independently of sensory experience and constitutes a pre-existing foundation for all that emerges in the physical world. This idea posits that the deterministic nature of the universe is rooted in an underlying fabric of probability and potential, echoing notions of quantum mechanics where particles exist in a state of superposition until observed or measured.
