Philosophy

Will is the force of creation and Love the force that relates (unites) the manifested.
Will & Love are complementary and can be considered the strong force of Consciousness.
The strong force expresses as harmony, beauty & joy – the lack of it, as discontinuity, sadness and filth.
There is lots of talk about free will – usually motivated by the hope to get wishes fulfilled – but where there is Will there is neither wish nor hope.
Will cannot be willed, as there are no two Wills.
Will has no cause, nor can it be deduced from effects – Will is cause and effect.
Where Will is divided, weaknesses arise.
Seeking the origins of Will and the construction plans of creation is seeking to avoid self-responsibility.
Everyone is (or should be) his own creator and has thus infinite self-design possibilities – each of them having, when motivated by the Will & Love to realize oneself, the potential to bring about a self-image wherein all creations complement each other.

Well that cleared it up.
Saying “Will is the force of creation” is meaningless without defining “will.” I’m not going to play 20 questions with you. Unless you can explain that statement with empirical evidence there is no sense discussing this.

Well it is true, waechter418 gave the definitions Lois asked for, so the question was superfluous.
He defines will as ‘the force of creation’; and love as ‘the force that relates (unites) the manifested’.
But of course these definitions are very vague and heavy loaded with new age speak. So, waechter418, you get not far from here.

According to those definitions will existed before the universe and love existed before energy coalesced into matter. Whose will? Whose love? What he posted is meaningless drivel, as is almost all new age speak.

Ya know, you click on a topic in the Philosophy section, hoping maybe something new and different has come along, and, well…
Saying something is a force is not a definition in any real sense of “definition”. A force like a physical force? If so, at what level? Quantum or observable? Newtonian? If so, why the new word? If you are talking about forces of nature that shaped the universe, why not use the language of people who have been studying that all their lives? Unless you are trying to write some poetry here, then you have some flowery allegories, but that’s about it. And you are explaining your poetry, not writing it. Why are doing that?
