George Carlin says too many bad words
some things he said are right. But still without religion answers would of not come. Even today scientist admit that religon help in someway to create technology.
I agree, Carlin was crude, but not wrong.
Yes, the Inquisition invented many exquisite tools for torturing “apostates”
But for a 1000 years religion has denied the function of Darwinian “evolution via natural selection” .
Only recently did the Pontifical Academy of Science admit that evolution is true.
On October 27, 2014, Pope Francis issued a statement at the Pontifical Academy of Sciences that “Evolution in nature is not inconsistent with the notion of creation,” warning against thinking of God’s act of creation as “God [being] a magician, with a magic wand able to do everything.” Evolution and the Catholic Church - Wikipedia
Scientist copy mythical animals to make weapons and some ancient myth explained how atomic weapons in the past or celeistal powers gods have gave way for man to invent weapons.
No, man copied existing animals such as birds or frogs for scientific experiments.
Note that mythical creatures never existed . That’s why they are called mythical.
Man itself is not the creator of itself.
That is true. But neither is God. Humans are a result of a chromosomal mutation in a common ancestor of humans and other great apes (hominids). That mutation allowed for growth of a more complex brain in humans and that is how humans split away from other great apes.
The proof lies in the chromosome count.
Human Chromosome 2 is a fusion of two ancestral chromosomes
Alec MacAndrew
Introduction
All great apes apart from man have 24 pairs of chromosomes. There is therefore a hypothesis that the common ancestor of all great apes had 24 pairs of chromosomes and that the fusion of two of the ancestor’s chromosomes created chromosome 2 in humans. The evidence for this hypothesis is very strong.

Conclusion
The evidence that human chromosome 2 is a fusion of two of the common ancestor’s chromosomes is overwhelming.

That is why God existed because man without religion would be in the dark not knowing the truth only God gave the truth that they belong to him. Man will war day and night people would of been in the dark ages forever that’s why without religion science will not advance. The catholic church even though I do not like it gave way for science to grow.
No , you are misinformed.
These are but three examples of the real story.
Hypatia, woman astronomer in 355 AD
She was literally cut to pieces apart by religious priests, accusing her of witchcraft. https://www.womanastronomer.com/hypatia.htm
Leonardo Da Vinci was hired by the church to make weapons of war.
Galileo Galilei
He was convicted of heresy and placed under house arrest for 9 years until his death. Galileo Galilei - Wikipedia
The concept of a creator God (as described in the bible), is incompatible with the scientific account of the beginning and evolution of the universe. You cannot have it both ways.
