Is it someone who take the initiative to go beyond the selfishness of wanting others to think they are special and more knowledgeable then they actually are? Or someone who avoids the drama of ego to provide a vision of hope for those who failed to realize life has provided all men with all that is needed to live in the manner of choice?

What is the definition of a Hero? It all gets messed up from there. Maybe hero is just a title.

What is the definition of a Hero? It all gets messed up from there. Maybe hero is just a title. No one can count the grains of sand upon a beach, for all represent singularity among the mass. So are the definitions of what a hero is. One such definition can be stated to be The hero warrior fight for salvation from both selfish and non-selfish gains, from dualism. And every man/woman is a warrior hero. But every man/woman does not have the fortitude to step out beyond the fears of enslavement.

It makes for a great sounding song, unfortunately our armed forces are forced to do more harm to those goals of democracy and freedom than they ever helped or protected. How did that Shock'em Awe make anyone's lives better? Well, that would be excluding the profiteers and their jobbers. Or our efforts in Afghanistan? Who's citizens have been benefiting?
