US weighs crackdown on homeopathic remedies over ‘significant safety issues’
Hearings to conclude on Tuesday into whether reported concerns including loss of sense of smell are cause for greater regulation of booming industry

Unfortunately, the consistent quality is that they are consistently useless.

Homeopathic remedies can be useful if the person taking them really believes they will help, however they should not replace more traditional treatments, that could lead to harm to the person.

Homeopathic remedies can be useful if the person taking them really believes they will help, however they should not replace more traditional treatments, that could lead to harm to the person. The problem is that's exactly what they do. The FDA SHOULD be warning about and controling the real dangers of evidenceless claims, no matter how many people delude themselves about them. Lois

Homeopathic remedies can be useful if the person taking them really believes they will help, however they should not replace more traditional treatments, that could lead to harm to the person. Homeopathy is placebo and nothing more. It can and does lead to delays in patients seeking legitimate proven treatment. There is no role for homeopathy in the treatment of disease.
