Many years ago I would frequent bars in the area that would host various Road Bands, I usually liked the music. Almost every Road Band would include some humor in the act. Most of the humor was of the crude, off color type that wasn’t very sophisticated. It occurs to me that if a band starts off with that kind of humor, then the crowd they will attract will be a crowd that enjoys that kind of humor. I was really hard pressed to find a band that used a more sophisticated, less crude humor. Can anyone else here, who has played in a band, confirm this observation?
