First, multiverse is more an hypothesis, than a theory.
Second, you can believe in god and in multiverse. the debate is outside the debate about releigion.
Third, there is no relationship between the idea of infinity and religion
Fourth, most atheists know that there is no metaphysical reason for humanity to exist. There is no mystery. We are the result of evolution.
