I can understand that MA. Jazz was an acquired taste for me. Weather Report's Sweetnighter album did it for me. Coltrane is less accessible. Don't even think about listening to Sonny Rollins.
Bite your tongue young man! Sonny Rollins, especially Saxophone Colossus, is the pinnacle of great jazz. If you listen to his improv on Blue 7 for example you realize he's building a mini-work of art every bit as musically constructed, with motifs, etc, as any Mozart symphony AND he's doing it on the spot as he's playing. But I digress :)

But I digress :) I agree, but my comment was directed at MA. Sonny Rollins is one of my favorites, but not a good choice for jazz newbies. Saxophone Colossus is a great album.
