I have long been an advocate for a sliding scale (Pres. Clinton), or income limits (lower profits).

Tax anything above say, 4 million dollars, at 95%. Like we used to do in the U.S.
Not sure a philosopher would approve but it solves many social ills.

This strategy under Bill Clinton’s presidency resulted in a revenue surplus that was to be applied towards the national debt.
Bush used that surplus to give a tax break to the very wealthy. Go figure.

Using excess natural resources for profit creates an unbalanced environment, as we are witnessing today with man-made climate change.
