Not stuck with the brain you have? (Dr Daniel Amen)

Along with making a good argument, Dr Daniel Amen asks a good question:
Why doesn’t psychiatry employ and incorporate brain imagining technology in their diagnosis and treatment of brain issues?
Quite the interesting review of how far brain imaging has come in the past decades.

PS. about Dr. Daniel Amen http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daniel_Amen http://www.amenclinics.com/dr-amen/

I’ll admit he can sound like quite the salesman, and I don’t claim to know anything about him or his claims,
and there is this http://www.lef.org/magazine/2010/10/integrated-medicine-optimizes-brain-function/page-01
which doesn’t do much to impress me.
But the concept of incorporating brain imaging
- since the understanding of what those images are telling medical experts must be increasing -
into diagnosis makes all the sense in the world to me.
