Is puberty brainwashing?

Your favourite CNN:sweat_smile:

you were shown and then (predictably) denied it, like I said you don’t actually care about any of this.

u got your head so far stuck up your behind, in the dark that you didnt see my links of today not from 3 months ago :joy::sweat_smile:. Joker.

references to body parts are fall under my most quote guideline

  1. f. Threads and posts are not allowed that in the opinion of Moderators are impolite, vulgar, nasty, uncivil, or otherwise disruptive to the good functioning of the either the Forum or to CFI’s mission. Free inquiry is only possible if we maintain civility. Abuse of forum members will not be permitted. In particular, abuse of Moderators for performing their responsibilities will not be permitted. What constitutes abuse will be determined by Moderators on a case-by-case basis, however in general it amounts to any racist, sexist, homo-sexist, threatening, harassing, or other personally offensive, vulgar or derogatory comments. Abuse would include so-called hate speech and fighting words.

Generally speaking, inflammatory, hyperbolic or overly emotive rhetoric is the sign of a troll and should be avoided on the CFI Forum. This community exists, first and foremost, to foster inquiry. Inquiry does not flourish in an atmosphere of heated rhetoric, mutual vilification or recrimination. Disagreements should be kept, as much as possible, to the issues at hand and not become overly personalized. To take but one example, pointing out a person’s lack of scientific qualifications when discussing scientific issues is on-point, but referring to someone’s political beliefs is not. Since they risk degenerating into flame wars, abusive forum threads or posts are subject to immediate editing or deletion.

Bold italics are mine. I’ll add referring to someone’s intelligence is not on-point.

Let’s call this a pre-warning. Just dial it back a bit. Interactions are picking up again and I’d like to encourage continued engagement.

politically ignorant are the words

Why do I get the sense this is AI generated.

The political words phrase is the example given in the guidelines. I am referring to your use of “head up your behind”.

We all know that there are polls from different sources that have different methods and different results. Both of you have presented poll results and have reasons for accepting those results. You can discuss those reasons or you can find a forum where you are allowed to act like it’s a schoolyard playground.

Thats not factual or honest. Actually it was you that threw in old news reports and i provided current data

Granted. I’ll rephrase to: polls were presented.

You made a comment about them being old.

I don’t think 3 months counts as old.

Inthedarkness didn’t feel like going to the trouble of googling. That is not an indicator of intelligence or the lack of it.

I’m not really engaging much because I don’t think counter evidence would sway their mind nor does it seem like they actually care about the problems in the world

Now that is projection

It’s not, this is clearly just some bludgeon you use to win arguments, there is no actual concern.

You have to be joking .

I would put it slightly differently. It’s hard to tell what Cults cares about. When he just reports news, that’s a clue, but without comment, hard to tell. Whataboutisms don’t really indicate priorities. Critiques of governments are easy since most of them have something wrong.

Have you looked lately?

National polls

And it is interesting that, even in Texas, more voters disapprove than approve.

Yeah, the tide is turning.

Yeah tide is turning .
Gone from 86% to 82 .

They are beating the door down demanding impeachment. What ? Wait …

Trump’s base is losing faith in him, but most are still supportive. It’s really the younger supporters jumping ship.

Impeachment won’t happen though, because Democrats will have to deal with Vance – who might be even worse.

Vance doesn’t have the charisma or cult of personality that Trump has to pose any real threat.
