The overwhelming majority of legacy media around the world produces propaganda for their own Masters.
I said WESTERN SOCIETY is amongst the most brainwashed in the world and I base that on my travels to various regions. The reporting in the West has been more effective at propaganda because it has had the appearance of allowing criticism and freedom of speech, thus making it more believable. The trust is diminishing rapidly now though.
When censorship becomes more overt as it now is in the West, people start to question things more and the propaganda itself becomes less effective. George Orwell also mentioned similar in the foreword of one of his books (1984 I think).
