There is an interesting point made about the “messianic fanatics” getting a hold of “apocalyptic weapons”. The theory of mutually assured destruction doesn’t count for much when one of the factions are full of martyrs, does it? It might sound more like a masochistic temptation more than a means of deterrence. Although this is probably obvious haha
