That’s sort of the key, isn’t it?
Some are.
There are humans running around who are really consummate scoundrels through and through, not that they started that way, but that’s how they wound up.
It’ll unrealistic and dangerous to treat today’s raging destructive scoundrel, as yesterday’s hurt child. I imagine the term tough love evolved out of that sort of mess.
