Don’t even click on it. This is a public service announcement. If you know someone who mentions this Alpha curriculum, most likely a young person, get them to a cult de-programmer right away. It’s well produced, the people seem intelligent, it’s engaging, it doesn’t even sound preachy. I watched “Who Is Jesus” because a friend referred to it in a sermon. It made me cry, but not in the way he would have liked. In a half hour, it packed in every historical Jesus logical error and twisted fact. CS Lewis, obviously. Counting documents as a proof of historical accuracy, oh yeah. Leaps of logic, every 5 minutes.
So much work to do to prevent the collapse of civilization as we know it.

Actually, I think at some point God will step in and save us from all the Christians. Or he'll send his chore boy Jesus. ;)

Ah the story “i always knew its true, and those nice people are telling me that”.
Damn, I have to be so cynical bad person, always asking myself “what are those people getting out of it”. When the answer rings “a personal relationship based on a false premise” i feel even more cynical than before…
