Blaire, now that you are a atheist. Who in history are your top three atheists. Deists are included as atheists. Just interested to see your viewpoint and how far outside of the Christian Bubble you have made it.
Deism and atheism are two different things.

You bring up an interesting question with that first thing you don’t believe. If God exists beyond time and space, why did it take him 6 days to create everything? And if he’s all powerful, why did he need to rest at the end?

I think Einstein was likely a closet atheist. So, in that case, Einstein would be one of the top 3 atheists that I admire.

Albert Einstein had written a letter to German philosopher Eric Gutkind one year prior to his death. The letter sold at auction for 2.8m.

It read:

“The word God is for me nothing but the expression and product of human weaknesses. The Bible, a collection of venerable but still rather primitive legends.”

I am convinced there is only one way to eliminate these grave evils, namely through the establishment of asocialist economy, accompanied by an educational system which would be oriented toward social goals. In such an economy, the means of production are owned by society itself and are utilized in a planned fashion.
